NationsBenefits is what my Aetna d-snp…
NationsBenefits is what my Aetna d-snp uses now and I am very upset. The prices for 1 can of vegetables is $3.50! One can. Other prices are high too. If you cannot shop in a store, you are at their mercy of high prices and limited prices because you cannot shop with their "healthy benefit" card online at any store. The card is only accepted at two stores in my area, Walmart and CVS. Many of the products that are suppose to be on the benefit, do not ring up at the register when I shop in Walmart. When you are on a limited income, it is embarrassing to have to figure out what was not covered and then have the cashier remove it. I did recently find out that you can get reimbursed for these products, but good luck finding out exactly what products were not covered on your receipt and then wait for the check to come in the mail. This benefit discriminates against homebound recipients. Not being able to order online from a retailer, needs to be changed because of those of us who have to shop online.
