If I could give zero stars I would. Honestly they are crooks. They tried to force me to self-pay even though I have insurance and submitted all my paperwork as bill insurance. I had to call and email about 6 times over months to get them to bill my insurance and gave them my information each time. And yet each time I called back they would say they didn't have my insurance information on file. It was beyond creepy. They clearly have a policy where they do a pressure campaign to get you to self-pay for months before they will bill insurance. Self-pay would have cost me less than $300 if I paid up front but I thought going through insurance would save me money. Wrong. Then they billed my insurance almost $9,000 for a Horizon Custom panel and I ended up having to pay $370 anyway just for the co-pay (had already met my deductible). Unbelievable. They must be a monopoly otherwise how could they get away with this. Lastly, it looks like the positive reviews on this site are fake. They are all vague, one-line reviews and mostly added to the site May-July 2025.

Natera told me they received my test samples. I made an account and could see the two test samples had been received but not processed. I checked my account the next day and it said no tests received. I tried to contact customer service. There is no actual person who answers the phone. I have used the chat feature and all it can tell me is my tests may take up to 5 days to be received. It has been over 7 days.

Missed appointment first appointment they didn’t show up called me an hour after appointment time and said they needed to reschedule and would call me back on Monday but no one called so I called and they rescheduled for this Sunday and once again no one called or showed up. Not a very good company for keeping their commitments

Awful company- not surprised to see all the terrible reviews. I ordered an at home test from them; first one gets lost, second one is then sent to me which is now a saliva test and more expensive then the first (due to their own delays). We receive a bill that is nearly 3x what was expected. I call one of their billing support reps and ask to receive an itemized bill. The support rep informs me that it is company policy to only share itemized bills AFTER the bill has been fully paid??? Horrendous company, stay far far away. Companies like this, colluding with insurance companies to jack up the prices for everyday consumers is the downfall of the American healthcare industry. Anyone who works at this company should truly be ashamed.

Doctor still has not called and said why I was sent the kit. I told someone this at Natera and they called repeatedly every single day. I felt harassed by Natera and I’m considering finding a new doctor. This is a pointless test for me because my kidney failure had nothing to do with my genetics. When I told them I was waiting to hear from my doctor, they said they’d call to and then proceeded to also call me every single day for 2 weeks after I said I was not doing anything till I spoke with the doctor. And trustpilot is making me signup for emails and promotions to submit this review so that’s a bunch of crap too. Whole process is one of the most annoying to date. Never again.

Professional thieves ,they sent me to collections after I paid for the test before it was done . I called the billing department and spoke with representatives Jose ,Maria , Carlos and Chris nobody was able to fix the issue .aaWhen you asked for a supervisor they won’t transfer your call.

If I could give negative star I would make it. It is completely mess and terrible lab. I submitted info about my insurance immediately after I received a letter from Natera(but actually I dont understand why they didnt have it because I did a test from my OBGYN Clinic and they have ALL my info that should go through). But Ok I send email with my insuranse, they didnt respond, after I made a call they told that they NEVER received any info from me. I provided info by phone. After that I received again and again messeges: Provide your insurance info. After the call they said they dont have it. Etc etc. All together I made more that 10!!!!!calls to the company. I am pregnant, I want to be quiete and have rest on my 3 trimester and dont receiving annoing messeges and mails that I owe 4500$!!!! its not normal! They make me nervous and anxious. I will never never do test in this company and not reccomend to anyone. Today I made the last call and told that I provide my insurance the last time, it is not my problem, if they can not normally send info to my insuranse they will not receive any paymant from me. It is not professional and it is not normal!!!

Using natera has been a huge regret! They billed my insurance $15,000 the. Charged me an additional $1000. When I call to figure out pricing wont give me straight answers. I’ve been told if I paid out of pocket without insurance it would ba e cost me $170 per test. They are unwilling to send me documentation an out their billing policies or what they sent to my insurance for billing. This has been a horrible experience.
