Get certified by some other company. NASM is a scam! My virus scanner would not allow their “secure browser” for the exam to download. Was labeled absent for the test even though I was not absent. Customer service is an absolute joke, all the representatives are broken English Indians, who all go by Steve. They don’t want to help you diagnose the issue they just want you to pay a $50 absent fee. My computer passed all the pre checks and I took two proctored exams on the same laptop earlier this year for MSHAA and OSHAA, no issues. So the problem was definitely the shady ass “secure browser”. If you already purchased a course from nasm then do in person proctor, not online. Otherwise you’ll be dealing with one of the many Steve’s at customer service.

Gabage Company despises its self-serving, self-interested employees and is not interested in helping you. Go to hell. I'm disappointed and will never join again. absolutely Trash. Employee refuse to help me and refused give his identity!

Your customer service is atrocious and your guys lack of communication, ability to make processes clear, and hopefulness is near nonexistent.

If it were possible to give lower than 1 star I would. I had a very bad experience with NASM and their testing company PSI. I signed on with PSI and showed my CPR/AED certificates. Oops! My printer did not work and the dates and signatures did not print. I signed out and corrected the problem. When I signed back in, the PSI software did not work. I could not even get to the point of showing them my signed and dated certificate. I spent the next 1.5 hours trying to get signed in with a representative on the phone. Eventually, I timed out. I had prepared for the test and scheduled time for it. I spent 1.5 hours of my time trying to get signed in. It was not my fault that PSI’s software did not work. I insisted that I be compensated for my time and frustration with a refund of the $150 testing fee. I agree that I was asking for a lot, but it was a very bad experience. NASM looked into it and got back to me. Both NASM and PSI maintain that I could not take the test because I did not show my CPR/AED certificate. But I had my completed certificate on my 2nd and 3rd attempts to sign in. The software didn’t work, so I couldn’t show it. They only gave me a $15 discount on a $50 missed test fee. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was denied. My only recourse is to complain here. Thank you for listening.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will get a US rep when you first want to sign on and then when you do you disappear into their rabbit hole. No counselor as they say calls to check on you to see if you need help. When you do call to get help you get another country and they are far from helpful. The proctors on their exams are rude and interrupt you for the littlest thing as resting your hand on your/mouth chin while taking the exam. You can't reach a manager when you ask for one. I called back pretending to be a new potential student and got a US representative but as soon as I explained my issues I was transferred to India with no resolution

Terrible customer service. They will charge you for the course and then find every other opportunity to take money from you.

I purchased a full package from NASM and upon completing the CPT course signed up for a proctored exam. I completed the CPR/AED course as the prerequisite, but on the day of the exam, I had difficulty accessing my certificate and the proctor closed my session before I got to it. When I spoke to the NASM rep, she told me she would extend my window two weeks with no additional cost; however, the next morning when I attempted to reschedule, the option was not there to reschedule and when I spoke to NASM, a different rep told me I had to pay $35 for the reschedule of my exam. I told him in detail about what the prior rep had told me and he said her notes did not reflect what I was saying. I asked him then why did my original expiration date change from December of this year to September 14th, 2026, if not because she had given me the 2 week extension. He said he did not know and would still need to collect the fee. When I asked to speak to a manager, he said that was not something he could do. This is not about the $35, but about the principle of it all. When you pay upfront $1,800 to purchase a full complement of courses and then have a rep make a commitment that isn’t followed through on it is just bad business. I paid the fee and rescheduled and passed my exam and will complete the additional courses, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth regarding NASM.

After purchasing, I never had access to my account, and they did not fix it no matter how many times I contacted them.
