Tend HomeReviews of mytend.com

I had an electrical fire in the breaker box at my rental property back in June. I sent the pictures, the invoice and proof of payment. Tend responded more pictures were needed as well as the reason for the fire. The technician updated the invoice but he only had the same before and after pictures showing the breaker box. As of this review, the claim is still not resolved. I sent emails several times telling Tend how disappointed I was with their apparent attempts to not reimburse me for the repair. The most recent email from Tend requested the same information that was already submitted. I do not recommend Tend and I will not be renewing my subscription!! Customer service is actually a zero but one star is required ( they don't deserve the one star). They purposely and intentionally deny claims, there's no way to speak with anyone and I hate I've wasted so many years with this company. To be fair, I had two claims previously that were handled with ease. I'm confused with this one bc all the steps are the same as previous claims, difference is economic struggle. Those claims were before the screw the consumer era. The consumer pays faithfully, they (Tend) stray intentionally!!

Do not waste your money with these people. They will reject their claims over flimsy reasons and you will be left scratching your heads over it. I had my HVAC replaced as recommended by my HVAC repair person. I provided them with the documentation and receipts but they refused the claim over a minor technicality. They will go out of their way to deny your claims. Save your money.

I’ve had such negative experiences working with other companies but Tend has made me realize that people in the home warranty space actually do care for their customers! The price is a great value and being able to call my own service provider saved me a huge headache! The claims team was friendly and I got paid much quicker than other companies I’ve dealt with. 5 stars!

There is no way to contact them. Email: support@mytend com. - doesn't work - info@mytend com - same. You call them and the voicemail says "you have to send an email to support@mytend com. Website "My Account" Section, doesnt work.

They deleted their entire customer website without notice.

Wow, the amount of time wasted with the other companies. Tend has better pricing but, even more important, the amount of time saved to get a repair made. Gray W

I have only signed up a couple of months ago hoping that if something goes wrong in the future all will be good. I signed up on line it was easy to do. Look forward to peace of mind in helping with repair costs that you never know may happen.

Tend Warranty is the most clear and upfront about their coverages, and what made them stand out from the other companies for me was that the let you select your own service handyman for the repairs, and will repay you the cost. I have had home warranties with other Big name companies before, and I learned that the coverage is not really what they making it out to be, because they will require you to schedule their own, biased, repair company who will lie about the condition of your appliance, and furthermore will refuse to fix it, so that the Warranty company doesn't have to pay. With Tend, you wont have to fall into that trap, because you choose your qualified Handyman.
