I honestly think this site has been set-up as some kind of social experiment to see how much bad service people are prepared to put up with. They can't even do the most basic tasks such as cancel an order. Responses often don't bear any relation to the question you have asked. Avoid at all costs.

After ordering an item in June and writing at least three follow up emails I was very dissatisfied to learn the item had been discontinued. Which would not have been such a big deal had I not had to wait for three months to find out or written countless emails to inquire where it was. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will never do business with them again.

I had placed a pre-order for the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary Blu Ray, along with a release of the soundtrack on vinyl and a keychain. The release date for the Blu Ray came and went and my order had not shipped because the soundtrack's ship date had changed to early October. Fair enough, I figured, these things happen. Now that it's early October, I checked again and the ship date for the soundtrack had moved to early November. Closer inspection of my order revealed that each individual item in my order had a delivery fee charged to it, so why were all my items being held for one package? So I contacted customer service and asked that what items were available be shipped (because, frankly, I could have gotten the Blu Ray quicker and cheaper from Amazon). I received my ship notification stating that the Blu Ray and the soundtrack were on their way, with the keychain shipping soon. What the hell sense does that make? The item that wouldn't be available until November is on its way? And I need to wait for a keychain? Rest assured, I will never order from these people again. I don't appreciate being jerked around in this fashion.

I ordered a signed Banks CD and received the wrong item 3 times! Very disappointed. Huge fan of hers and was really looking forward to receiving the item. Thought I'd try my luck by ordering what I originally wanted, which was a signed Banks vinyl, but I don't want to go through this again. I've received wrong items from myplaydirect several times before too. The only reason I continue to buy from this company is because only they have what I want (limited edition stuff) and the prices are better.

I ordered a limited edition signed copy of a vinyl record which was had an expected delivery date of 9-11. I received confirmation the order was shipped on the tenth. Upon clicking tracking info, ups informed me that myplaydirect voided the shipping info and my package hasn't shipped. I've tried numerous times to contact myplaydirect through their antiquated online inquiry/help desk with no result. First, there is no phone number customers can call. Second, a response can take 24-48 hours, very unsettling. Third, customer service responses are ineffective and do not answer the questions asked in the original inquiries. Fourth, one and done, after 48 hours I finally received a response and that I should confirm some info. I confirmed the order and shipping info and asked for a response to confirm when the order ships and what the valid tracking info is. I have yet to hear back from them and another 48 hours have passed and I still don't know if my order has shipped.

So far 4 days to verify as to why the warehouse has not sent my item!! C/S seem to be oblivious to what good customer service is, and worse still there is no phone number to blast them! They hide behind worthless useless emails yet are quick to take your money! Hopeless company to deal with, avoid at all circumstances and will be telling all my friends the same! I hope that anyone hoping to use this company for their own C/S will take note of the negative reviews here, as they tell it how it is!

No one order from this company!! I ordered Walking Dead merchandise and when I asked for sizing information before submitting my order, I was told they don't have a sizing chart, but all their products are "American Sizes"....I received my product and the XL t-shirt was measured and came up as a medium in "American sizes"...I returned the merch. and it took MONTHS to receive the refund, PLUS, they only refunded a portion of the amount I paid, then had to fight to get the rest of my money back. They provide no contact number but I contacted Sony (their head office) and got a number, it is [private data], they will answer "hello" but just ask for MyPlay Direct and they will help you....they just don't want people to know their direct number. It is WORTH the long distance charge!!!

I preordered an album on July 2nd. A week after the album was released I still hadn't received it. I came to find out they just cancelled or just never processed my order. Thanks for the horrid service. I'll never buy anything from here again. A joke of a company
