I don't normally write reviews but was really pleased with the service. I went on the Ben Howard music site and was disappointed to see that the pre-order for the vinyl copy of his new album was only available in the US so I emailed to ask if it would be available in Canada: "we will get back to you once we get an update from them regarding the availability of the items in Canada." And to my surprise, the next day I got an email saying it was available. To be honest I really was not expecting a follow up. Placed my order. Really pleased! Thanks a lot.

I've placed numerous orders with Play.com in the past and I have always received the items in the promised condition within a short period of time. I recently placed an order that I had to cancel as it turned out I already had some of the items that I had just placed the order for. Customer service replied within a few hours, informing me that they had cancelled my order as requested. As any other classy online outlet, cc's aren't charged until orders ship, therefore I did not have to wait for days for a refund. Very satisfied.

My digital music order downloaded quickly and easily and I am now enjoying Wild Belle's new album Isles. Really quite delightful.

After seeing many negative reviews on here I wanted to take time to post about my great experience with myplaydirect.com. I found the box set vinyl for Motion City Soundtrack's My Dinosaur Life which has been sold out on their website for around a year. I have been looking for this product everywhere and have been unable to find it for less than a hundred bucks. Myplaydirect not only had it but had it at cost ($60). After emailing to make sure it was in stock I ordered the item on a Sunday and it arrive, still in its original packaging, at my home within 4 business days. Great experience and I will think of this site again when looking for hard to find stuff online.
