I Pre-Ordered the new Sara Bareilles CD/DVD Brave Enough. My order info shows estimated arrival date 10/22 to 10/24 it is now 10/29 and I have sent 5-6 emails to MyPlayDirect as well as 2 tweets to their customer service twitter account. An auto response to every email says that in most cases an agent will reply back to me within 24 hours and not a single email in the last week has gotten a reply. So Pissed off. I either want my item or my money back. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TIHS PISS POOR COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

Bought some posters from the AMC store about a month ago and I still haven't received them. Don't do business with this piss poor company. Hopefully I can get a refund for my $56.00.

I pre-ordered a shirt from this store back in September. On my order, it said that it would be shipping out on October 5th-9th, just in time for a family member's birthday. It still hasn't shipped, and now my dad won't be getting his birthday present that he was excited about. I recommend that you NEVER order from this site. They aren't reliable at all.

I thought if I ordered from a big company like the AMC website I would have no problems. I could have ordered from eBay or amazon or some bootlegger and gotten my order right, but I never got my order or even a response from their customer service. I ordered a shirt which is and was still in stock paid of course on sept 18 almost a month ago supposedly to be sent in 2 business days and have filled out their problem form twice. there is no phone number that I can find. this was my only gift for my dear husband's birthday, and the only gift he would have gotten from anyone. I wish there was a no star option. I will never order from a new vendor without checking here first now. I hope this helps someone before they have the same experience.

On July 09th I ordered a CD at My Play Direct. When the payment was done, I got the message "something went wrong". After contacting the customer service, I was told that the order wasn't placed and that I had to place a new order if I still wanted the CD. I just wanted my money back, but it's been three months now and I STILL don't have it back. Instead, I was told that "the refund was in process". On Augustus 27th, I got an email that said that the refund was done, but I'm still waiting for my money. It's an unreliable and lying organisation and people should be warned NOT to order at My Play Direct!

I ordered a Vinyl Muse set in mid December 2012 for my son's Christmas. It is now May 2013 and I still have not received the order. This company is a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Sure, they have free shipping on some of their items, but that's only if said items are in stock (it's not surprising that they put up backordered items for weekly sales in popmarket and that can take up to a month or more to be shipped) or if your payment goes through. I made a pre-order for a cd+10" vinyl+Shirt and paid by Amazon Payments. A few days ago I get an email saying my payment didn't go through, the first thing I did was check with amazon and the payment authorization was still active. So naturally I get in touch with their customer service, the only reply I got was a GENERIC copy and paste answer with only a few lines actually written by a random employee who said that my order was CANCELLED because the credit card info was wrong (I wonder how is that so, since I even made a purchase from amazon AFTER pre-ordering this item and I never entered my credit card info in their website on the first place?) and that I couldn't make a new order since the 10" vinyl was SOLD OUT... how can it be sold out if I had the pre-order rights? who kept my copy?. Fuck this website and fuck their bullshit customer (dis)service. Another experience I won't bother detailing too much was a daily sale item that was advertised, published on their facebook page and such, and upon ordering in mid-september the delivery status was "ships next week", by the next week, only the numbers of the days changed and the status was updated every week like that until DECEMBER when it was actually shipped!. Oh and not too long after that they lost one of my packages in the mail. Third's the charm! never bothering myself again with this crap shop. In short, you're better off buying anywhere else. You might save a few pennies with the free shipping thing but the headaches and frustrations you'll get from dealing with their godawful customer service (you can't engage in a flowing conversation to fix things quickly because ALL your emails will be replied by a different person) isn't worth it.
