Giving in the sample was fast and easy, and the results came quicker than expected. My cat has had food sensitivities for years that made her lose almost all her body weight in 2020. I was able to manage it with a hypoallergenic food, but I had to take her off of that food a couple month ago and she's been slowly losing weight again. This test was a cheaper and faster option than going to the vet and getting tests done. My vet even told me the tests they run very often can't exactly pinpoint the food allergy and it could just lead to more expensive tests. The foods my cat was sensitive to have been present in her previous foods that made her lose weight. Now she's on a new food without any of her food sensitivities and so far so good, its too early to tell with her weight loss, but her energy is good and she is looking a little bit fuller. I think this test is worth it if you have a cat/animal that is losing weight with no clear reason or if you suspect they have a food allergy. It can point you in the right direction without having to drop hundreds at the vet.
