I had to read the reviews here because I was floored by how many bad reviews there were. My experience has never been anywhere near what these poor reviews describe. I’ve been with Metabolic Meals since they started, after I left CookUnity. I will agree with one person’s comment that the pictures don’t always represent what you actually get. I even wrote to them about that when I first became a subscriber. It was their lasagna, and it was pathetic. Their image of that lasagna was beautiful, and what showed up didn’t even look edible. But I ate it, and it was good. Wasn’t great, but it was good. When it came to the other meals, they were all excellent. One of the biggest things that most of these ready-meal companies get wrong is the chicken. Nobody can do chicken right, but Metabolic seems to be able to. I’ve only had one rubbery piece of chicken from them. Other than that, it’s been perfectly tender, whereas with other delivery companies it’s almost always chewy. Customer service has always taken care of me if I’ve had any issues, which have been pretty much nil. I’m very happy with them and have no complaints. Highly recommend.

So, I never leave reviews unless I am very dissatisfied or vice versa…Trustpilot is usually pretty accurate so I always try to check it before ordering from somewhere I’ve never heard of. Fortunately, I forgot to do that with this company and checked the reviews AFTER placing my order….needless to say I was very stressed about the quality of product I would be receiving so I was very anxious for delivery day. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA why there are so many negative reviews….The quality is top notch! The portions are modest but they do fill you up! And this helps significantly for portion control so really the portions are perfect - not too small and not too large. I think I have finally found a product that is GREAT tasting and will help me lose weight while staying healthy!!! As for all the reviews about being “overcharged/automatically placed orders”…the website is quite simple and direct…. If you don’t want meals you can either skip before the deadline or cancel all future shipments. To metabolic meals: THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT AND USER FRIENDLY WEBSITE!!

I absolutely love the metabolic meals. I don't understand why there are so many negative comments. I am going to change that today. The chicken tikka masala is probably the best I have ever tasted. I loved the rosemary beef and the general tso chicken. I will be a long time customer for sure. Customer service is top notch and always very kind and considerate. The promos given are always very nice as well! I've been ordering every week and for sure you will have a longtime customer!

I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've used the service on and off for 6 months. The food is quite tasty and the right portion for me. You don't have to subscribe and can pop in to pick a week here and there - which is what I do. It's handy to have something in the freezer when I can't or don't want to cook. I can't help but think all these 1 star reviews are from competitors trying to sabotage.

This is my second review and I found metabolic food to be better quality with larger proportions than other meal delivery company's. I'm coming back to metabolic.

Honestly, I really like most of the meals so far. They are a perfect portion for one person. I love how you can scan the barcode on meal tracking apps. I think they taste great, better than other meal delivery places for sure. Regarding the people talking about not being able to cancel in time, they send you an email before the deadline. Also you can cancel auto delivery all together. I did it and it wasn't difficult at all.

Very good quality food compared to similar options. A lot of protein if you choose the larger portions. For me, the regular size meal is plenty. They are not salty like most. They are well seasoned and if you like tasty, this is the way to go. Customers service is great, either via email or over the phone. Might be higher priced, but absolutely worth it.
