I was very excited to try these tampons especially since I'm constantly trying to find products that are chemical free. I purchased two boxes of regular and super mixed. The first time I tried them, it was a heavy period and I went with a super to start, and brought one extra in case. I got to work and after 45 minutes I had bled through my underwear. I am 29 years old and haven't experienced this since I wore pads when I was 15. To say it was embarrassing would be an understatement. I put another in and and also placed toilet paper in my pants just in case. I bled through that as well. During my lunch I went and bought other tampons, and only use these when I'm home and know I can change them at a moments notice. For the amount of money I spent on these, I was beyond upset with my purchase. You live and you learn and a little bit of chemicals going in my body is not worth the embarrassment and worry of whether I have bled through my clothes. Although the shipping is convenient, I'll go back to buying a couple boxes at a time!

Dear God, Where was Lola in 1988??? I had the worst of periods and I was a total mess of a 10 year old. Yuck! But thanks to Lola...I actually look forward to the monthly catastrophe I call a period! I like knowing this product is free of pesticides and natural. I also like the idea that I don't have to make a mad dash to the drug store for provisions once a month. They have a great business model built by women for women. Smart.
