This Malaysian loves her Livia! I was taking a risk ordering it a few months ago incase it doesnt work as well as what I read online but honestly I love that little contraption. I no longer have to stock up on heating pads every month!

Packs a Punch
I bought a Livia a few months ago and it has been amazing at alleviating my menstrual cramp pain.
I normally leave the pads on all day and switch Livia on and off as required.
I know that there are many TENS units out there, and that potentially you pay a premium price for a "Pink Tax" version of one, but the Livia is discreet, compact and amazing at fighting off the pain. It has been the first few periods in which I have not had to be on a constant dosage of ibuprofen and paracetamol.
I do like the whole product, but I have concerns over the longevity of the flower pads, the shape of them can sometimes be a bit irritating on the skin - but then again I am wearing them for far longer than the recommended length of time.
I highly recommend using a TENS unit for alleviating menstrual pain, and Livia is a fantastic TENS unit to purchase!
I really do love how cute the skins are and how you can customise it!

Gift
I’ve purchased two different Livia products as gifts for my daughter, she has suffered severe period pain for a long time , and has endometriosis which has required surgical treatment. After exhausting other options she tried the Livia , it has been such a relief for her , so was so pleased when I gifted her replacement products .

super helpful + super over priced / cheaply made.
I heard of Livia via word of mouth and was highly interested in trying it out for myself, given that I experience such painful periods, and also because I am just so tired of taking pain killers every single month - I feared for how this might be affecting my liver and stomach long term. Regardless of mixed reviews, I knew I had to try it for myself. I had been apprehensive to purchase it myself due to the high cost of such a *simple* device and so I put off the purchase for a long time. My partner, the ever-thoughtful gift giver, gave me the gift of pain-free periods and I was so excited to finally try it out. I will have had and used this product for a year in March of 2020, and I have used it every month since I first got it.
The GOOD:
Upon my first use, I was SO relieved that it actually did work for me. It doesn't eliminate the pain entirely - especially for the super painful cramps, but it does help your mind distract from the pain. It feels exactly like what it is - an electrical charge, almost like a concentrated tingling sensation. I don't find it overly painful when I have it on a high setting, maybe because that sensation is more tolerable for *me* than super bad cramps. Overall, I am pleased with the product, as it has allowed me to cut back, and at times fully eliminate pain killers... which is what I hoped for, while dealing with the pain effectively. It's also very cute, mostly discreet, and easy to use.
The BAD:
What is uncomfortable is that I find the sticky pads will make me itchy, and I have yet to figure out if it's because of how long I wear them, where I wear them, too "used" (although I feel this sometimes with brand new pads)... It is itchy when I have it turned on. Sometimes I have to turn the device off while I have cramps solely due to the itching. About 5 months into use, my device stopped holding it's charge properly. I had been plugging it into the wall to charge, but also my computer at work. It turns out it's best to charge it directly via an outlet. Lastly, aside from so much wasteful packaging, the flower pads are garbage! Where the wire connects to the pad is so poorly reinforced that the rubber splits and the wires are exposed, and then damaged VERY easily. The carrying case suggest you slip in the pads and wrap up the cord, but this only encourages the destruction. It's like Livia is taking que from Apple and is making a sought after expensive product that breaks and requires frequent replacement. I understand why this damage is happening, but for the price I am baffled that they don't make something of better quality. I won't be storing my flower pads in that carrying case any longer because of this.
Surely my Livia has helped me out, but it is evident that they are taking full advantage of this niche market right now, and in my opinion, ripping us off. I'm looking forward to seeing more manufacturers offering the same type of product for less money, and lasting quality.
Over all, I would recommend this product because it does work for me, and what woman enjoys period cramps? But also because I strongly believe that our gut health is so important, and long term use of painkillers is not good!
Just be aware that it IS somewhat of an investment. You will need to stock up on the gel pads, and also replace the flower pad. Potentially even the device itself too!

I do really like this product it helps…
I do really like this product it helps me when I have really bad cramps. I used to have prescription pain pills but I didn’t refill the prescription and I now use just one normal naproxen and my Livia and it works perfectly. I don’t think it works well enough for me to be totally pull free but it definitely helps.
