Although the sensation of the device is quite prominent it takes away the the pain

Helps somewhat, but I still take pain meds the whole time. With this, I can at least get out of bed...I've had it for over a year now and had to buy new electrodes bc the wire broke, and several sets of replacement gel pads. Turned in to more of a monetary investment than I expected, without miraculously freeing me from pain, but I still need it to at least get some relief. Probably won't invest in new electrodes and gel sets once the ones I have are worn out since there's similar, cheaper technology now. EDIT: Added a star for customer service. I have been in contact with them twice before and received timely help. I appreciate a company that appreciates their customers.

This has changed my life. I have crippling pain on the first day of my period and, like you advertise, I'm able to "turn off" the cramps essentially all together. I highly recommend these to women struggling but suggest to be patient and give it a chance, the device's impacts on pain get better the longer you wear it. I only wish the battery lasted a couple more hours than it does but understandably I use it on the highest setting on occasion.

Definitely helps relieve pain instantly. I use it religiously every month. Personally I would like the cords to be longer for the pads, and the gel on the pads to last longer.

Livia is my security blanket for periods! When I can't stop moving and nothing else works, Livia has my back. I only wish the cord was a little longer so I could clip it where I don't keep bumping it and accidentally turning it off, or on my shirt collar so going to the bathroom is a little easier.

I really like the livia device, it has helped to reduce my period cramps several times. Sometimes they still hurt but you just have to move the pads to a new spot, or sometimes they’re just too painful. I try not to use medicine like paracetamol if I can avoid it, this is why I bought the livia device and I can certainly say that I now don’t take paracetamol as often. It’s easy to just put in your pocket and carry around.
