The subscription is absolutely not life-long - you can cancel it after 4 months - it's written on Livia's Website. The same answer goes for custom charge that occurs in some countries in Europe(In your case Bulgaria- for some cases there is customs charge there and we've written on the checkout page that the customs fee depends on the country destination and you have a special notification above the place order button - We ship from USA). regarding Livia gel pads - they are not in the local pharmacy and you can't buy them for cents - the Gel Pads are made of hydrophilic resin matrix which is created by a unique polymerization technology.
