I have endometriosis & PCOS, and an irregular cycle because of it. Being able to carry my Livia in my purse with me is great for when my cramps sneak up. I can usually hide the power source clip in my jeans if I need to. The sooner I get the device working, the better it works to help. I was way over dosing ibuprofen every cycle because my cramps were debilitating due to the endo, and I was trying to move away from over medicating. This doesn’t totally neutralize the cramps, but does make life more bearable. I feel like someone who has more “normal” cramps might actually not feel them at all but I can’t be sure. The only real downside I’ve found is that I can’t seem to keep the sticky pads clean enough between uses during a single cycle to reuse them, so that can be expensive if you aren’t careful. I’ve been using the device for years now, because I was a supporter through the Kickstarter campaign. I’ve turned many friends onto it. Well worth the money!!!!

*FINAL UPDATE* Once again, Ran has delivered on what she’s promised. I actually received the wrong item the first time, but she quickly replied and sent out the correct one. I’ve received it today and am so happy I can FINALLY use my Livia again for my next period. If you’ve got a delivery issue, please please email Ran herself. I’m glad I know that now. *UPDATE* Very shortly after writing my review the mysterious Ran I’ve heard about on here emailed me and made sure the problem was dealt with. I’m going to change it to three stars once I receive the package, but until then I’ve updated it to two (from one) because of how well Ran handled the situation for me. I’ve written a review about livia on here before and I gave it 5 or 4 stars, however that has drastically changed. I would delete the review but I can’t seem to remember my login. The product itself is GREAT, I really do love it, but when I can’t get a replacement part, I can’t use it and therefore it’s useless to me. The company itself honestly feels like only 3 people work there. I saw an extremely similar review on here saying the same thing. I’ll email asking about the order and 3 days later I’ll get a reply. They have a telephone number to call, I’ve called it three times on three separate occasions and no one ever answers it. They give you an option to chat on FB messenger which is I assumed, would be instant, however I’ve got a reply at 4am asking what my question was. Then today, I got someone asking what my question was again, I responded right away thinking they’re waiting for my reply…we’ll it’s now been 4 hours and no one has responded to my messages. I’ve currently been waiting 3 months for my “flower pads” which are the part that includes the wires. I’m beyond frustrated and have now asked for a refund, which to no surprise, has not been responded to yet. There is a similar product, not as cute but similar, which I’ll probably be buying next called Ovira. I understand the global pandemic has hindered supply, but honesty and communication would go a LONG way with this company, and it’s something they must improve on if they want to survive. Livia worked for me for around 6 years, but if you’re just looking into it now, I suggest you wait or look elsewhere because you’ll be pulling your hair out trying to get the product or communicate with ANYONE from the company.

Livia is a godsend. During my period it was always unbearable, however with Livia it kind of numb my senses by sending small waves of electricity, and it does a good job too. Only thing I would like to suggest is to have the spiky edges of the gel pads changed to smooth round edges so that they don’t make my skin itchy.

I love my Livia. I ordered it during one of the "amazing" episodes of cramps over the Christmas break. I was very tired of taking so many pain killers for three days straight each time. I waited for my Livia to arrive just before my next period. As again I was waiting for it in fear of the pain. Unfortunately, it did not arrive on time :( . Though when I tried it - it does relieve the pain, not entirely, but I can cope during the day, with less painkillers.

Let me start with how much I LOVE my Livia. I have extremely painful cycles and they continue to get worse as I get older. I was super desperate for relief and started googling. I’m so glad I decided to go for it because it’s the only thing that gives me relief! There are only a few points I’ve personally found to be slight downfalls, which is why I didn’t give 5 stars (I REALLY wanted to though!!!) I have found it difficult to keep the pads on *even newly opened ones* unless I’m sedentary. I have also noticed the cable is not long enough to be functional *ie. walking around, doing household chores, etc.* and the last thing I’ve noticed is the clip doesn’t work very well. I’m constantly having to catch my Livia or try to hold it whenever I’m doing anything other than laying down.

Took a while to ship, but when it arrived everything was there including the bonus skin in the new years deal. I use levels 1 and 2 often and it works well for taming more intense cramps but does not get rid of them completely. Levels 3 and higher do help more but I can feel it almost like it’s vibrating at each pad so it’s less convenient to use than the lower levels. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I wasn't sure if this product would work for my cramps, but it's really effective at managing all but the worst of them! It's great for preventing cramps entirely if I get it on quick enough, as well! I wouldn't say this product necessarily replaces the need for painkillers, but it does wonders to help combat painful periods!

I wish there battery lasted longer so that i could leave it running all day without having to recharge until i went to bed. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase.
