I'm sorry this didn't work for you. I'm not sure which customer this is since it's anonymous, but this claim is something I take it seriously. This was our older done-for-you lead generation program, which we've retired. Here's the honest reason. Cold outreach on its own has stopped working the way it used to. It only produces leads when it sits inside a broader strategy, which means a consistent niche, content going out regularly, a credible profile, and leads being answered quickly. A done-for-you outreach service can only control a small part of that, so when the rest isn't in place, the results don't show up. We didn't think it was fair to keep charging premium prices for something that depended on so much we couldn't control. So we rebuilt Mylance around the part that actually lasts, which is helping founders publish consistent, credible LinkedIn content in their own voice. It's a different product, and we stand behind it with a 30-day guarantee. I'd still like to make this right. The review is anonymous so I can't find your account, but if you email me at [email protected] it comes straight to me and I'll sort out a refund or credit personally. Bradley, founder

Again, we’re so sorry to know you had this experience working with us! To respond, I’d like to clear up a few things: 1. We have a minimum 3-month commitment to give the campaigns time to have success. After the first campaign pivot, yours did start to see success. With more time to unfold, we would have seen those results start to compound. Marketing campaigns take time. There are no quick silver-bullets in marketing, and we do make that clear upfront 2. We partner with our customers to work with us to nail down an ICP (ideal customer profile) and positioning. When we start with a blank slate on who to target and how to position your expertise, the campaigns usually need some iterations to find what messaging resonates with what audience. This is true for marketing for any business and finding traction in month 2 or 3 is really impressive. 3. The top value props that we bring to the table are: (1) We take this off your plate entirely (2) We curate an incredibly detailed lead list that you can’t get elsewhere (3) We watch and iterate on your campaigns for you and (4) We do the sales that you ‘probably’ don’t enjoy. It’s disappointing to see this review after seeing your campaign start to yield results, but it seems like expectations were misaligned from the beginning. Nevertheless, I hope some of those positive replies turn into clients and this ends up being a positive ROI investment for you!

Thanks Sean, this means a lot. Helping founders and consultants get the positioning and resources to actually get going is the whole reason we do this. Glad it made a difference for you, and I'm here if you ever need anything. Bradley, founder

Thank you Beth, this is wonderful to read. Those early cohorts were some of my favorite work, and the group you were part of was a genuinely sharp, generous bunch. I'm really glad the exercises pushed you to think differently about your consulting business, and even happier you made real connections along the way. Rooting for you. Bradley, founder

Thank you Gregg. That balance of hands-on support and giving people real materials to work with was always the goal, so it means a lot to hear it landed. Starting out as a freelancer and consultant is genuinely hard, and I'm glad the strategies and templates helped you push through it. Here anytime you need us. Bradley, founder

Thank you Eric. That was exactly the aim of the lead gen cohort, helping you focus your approach and surface opportunities you wouldn't have come across on your own. Really glad the weekly calls moved the needle for you, and I appreciate you taking the time to share this. Bradley, founder

Thank you Andrew. You nailed something I care about a lot, which is that consulting can be lonely, and having people to share the wins and losses with changes everything. It was great having you in the community. Congratulations on the franchise, that's exciting, and the door is always open if you ever come back around. Bradley, founder
