My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Supportive but Extremely Comfortable!
My Green Mattress was very quick in fulfilling and shipping my mattresses - and it feels great! I had an old (very expensive) posturepedic 100% memory foam mattress that I haven't been able to sleep on for almost 2 years due to lower back issues. After a solid week of research online and going to the stores to try different mattresses out - I decided that a latex hybrid sounded like it would be best for lumbar support and comfort. In addition, due to my allergies and sensitive skin, I wanted organic materials, therefore The Natural Escape Mattress seemed to check all the boxes. I am both a side and back sleeper, and the 3" of dunlop latex over the pocketed coil springs with the lumbar support zones has been perfect for me. My husband and I purchased the split king option, which is two XL twins - along with adjustable bases with massage function. I love it so much that I can't wait to go to bed at night, especially after two long years of sleeping on the couch and even on the floor due to my back. This is not a mattress that you sink into - it is extremely comfortable, yet supportive, and easy to change positions on. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone that needs lumbar support, but still wants great pressure relief along with some bounce. FYI - my other choice would have been the Purple Firm Hybrid - but it was not organic materials and it cost 50% more. I bring this up as it was the closest to how the Natural Escape mattress feels.

These guys are a great company
These guys are a great company. Unfortunately none of their mattress offerings were firm enough for my needs, but I really like how the company has you donate the mattress to a charity and they refunded me right away.

Difference between king and twin
I have three of the twin kiwi mattresses and I love them. 5 stars for them. Because of that, we ordered a king for our room. It’s not the same. I expected the same mattress just a bigger size. It’s not a lack of quality issue. The firmness and padding are just not the same as the smaller size.
