My Green Mattress

About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

I am not set on this mattress yet
I am not set on this mattress yet. It is beautiful and I think it smells wonderful. Such a natural scent. We purchased the echo and my son seems to love it. It seems very supportive, but I believe it is much more form than I expected to be. If you need some give in a mattress, this is not it.

Hello, Melissa. Thank you for your kind words! The Pure Echo that you chose is our most popular mattress for children, and is a solid medium-firm. If your son is loving it, then the fit seems to be working. Should he decide he wants added plushness as he grows older, a topper is a great addition! Best, My Green Mattress

I love My Green Mattress so much
I love My Green Mattress so much. The latex mattresses are so comfortable. We bought one for each of our two children. When it's time to replace ours, we know right where to go! The sheets are great, too. I love being able to get non-toxic, organic products at a reasonable price.

Excellent mattress and topper
Excellent mattress and topper. Was recommended as one of the top brands for scoliosis, which I have a case of. It is minor, but enough to make bed torturous. Went organic so as not to have any reservations about the long-term. The mattress is heavy, so if you're buying a large size, arrange for some help to transfer and unpackage. When unpackaging, take care to set it right side up (not sure how, but don't take the plastic off all the way before you figure out which way it's facing). I had to flip the king by myself and it was less than fun, but made for a great home video. However, that said, it's a great feeling mattress. The topper is a nice soft contouring material and provides good support. No back issues yet after a week (came off a posturepedic that was killing me). Will see how it does after it breaks in. Grateful for good service (chat was especially helpful) and fast shipping. Cheers!

After months of research....we are HAPPY
After months of research and multiple phone calls (all answered thoroughly and very enthusiasticly) we decided on the Pure Echo. We couldn’t be happier! Yes there is a very slight wool/natural smell (if you bury your nose in the mattress) but we love it....because it’s NOT toxic! Kids have no complaints, and maybe coincidence, but my kids have slept in every morning since we got the mattresses!! Thank you My Green Mattress!!

Their customer service was superb
Their customer service was superb. I am still evaluating the bed. It is very comfy, but I may want to get an additional topper for more softness.
