About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Great mattress
Great mattress! I thought it was a little too firm in the beginning but now I am used to it. My back feels much better in the morning and my arms are no longer numb. My previous mattress was very soft. I highly recommend this product!

I LOVE My Green Mattress!!
I LOVE My Green Mattress. The service is always outstanding (I've had the pleasure of conversing with the owner directly!) The product is exceptional quality and it arrives in record time! Our family owns 7 mattresses AND a custom piece all made by my green mattress! We've been loyal customers (and will continue to be) for years. Thank you for giving families an option for an organic mattress (the eco) that is affordable and chemical free!

Good stuff!
Very pleased with our mattresses. We have had one for 2 years now and it has held up really well. We just ordered another one for our second child. They are very comfortable. We will be purchasing another one in a couple years. The quality is great and the price can't be beat!

The mattress is comfortable enough but…
The mattress is comfortable enough but it has an unpleasant smell. The weird thing is the smell will transfer to the sheets. I was hoping it would go away but I've had the mattress since November and it's still happening. I'm pretty disappointed.

Hello, Letisha. We're glad to hear you're finding comfort. The natural materials that we use to construct our mattresses are untreated and therefore can at times present natural odors. The odors are not harmful - think of the scent of an orange when its cut open - however, as in your case, it may not be favorable. Most mattresses will not carry an odors, however when they do the odors should dissipate quickly over time. We do offer our 100 Night Trial to ensure your mattress is a proper fit. Best, My Green Mattress

Highly recommend!
Excellent crib mattress and topper and free next day delivery for us in Illinois! Firm mattress with plush top. Much more comfortable than naturepedic crib mattress that we have for our older son.

Excellent customer service. I needed a delivery within 1 week because I was moving and the company was able to accommodate my request. I appreciated that very much.
