I was really interested in trying the diet plan. I answered all the questions and chose a plan, although I was doubtful about whether a plan could have been created so quickly for someone who also has hypothyroidism and kidney desease. I then realised that I only had the choice of PayPal or Google Pay. I don't use these payment types so decided to read reviews. On the first page there were people who had serious problems with payments going wrong and I was also worried that it was all app only. I am also partially sighted and use my phone mainly for calls and texts. I use a Kindle for Internet as the print is larger. I know from past attempts, that some apps are not available on the Amazon app store. I therefore decided not to go ahead with the purchase.

It says to drink 13 glasses of water a day - I drink 8-10 but I’d never be able to do 13 . It’s physically impossible for me and I don’t know anyone who drinks that much . So why recommend something that’s not realistic ?

I filled out the form on the MyDiabetes page to get *information.* I never downloaded the app, received any confirmation that I had subscribed, nothing. I received two notifications from PayPal that I was being charged -- quite a bit! -- for something from a company I never heard of. PayPal won't refund until you first go through the company. I have emailed four times with no response. I do not have an account on MyDiabetes.com or portal.mydiabeteshome.com, so I cannot see anywhere that I created any kind of account or promise to pay anything--so I can't unsubscribe.

I was very disappointed in the deceptive technique used to "upsell". Before you know it a very large charge shows up on your credit card. The initial sell is for 9.99--and I ended up with approximately $160.00 on my credit card and could not figure out how that happened.

Ordered supplements accidentally. Immediately asked for the order to be adjusted. They ignored the supplement request and kept sending me a link to cancel the free book and very cheap subscription to the app. Finally(same day) they answered my 3 emails saying I wanted the app and not the supplements. (I ended up cancelling everything). They said I have 2 weeks from receipt to mail back. Then they sent a label. Then they said when I mailed it I need to provide tracking (which is on the label they sent me. Then they have 10-30 day once they receive the return for an employee to make sure it’s in good condition. Then another 7-10 days to get to the bank and processing. If any of these “requirements” aren’t done exactly on their terms, no money will be refunded. It will be 2 months to get my money back when I contacted them right when I ordered. *EDIT company responded to this review and asked me to contact them from my registered email. I have. Nothing happens. I have my product and will be mailing it back unopened today. I will follow your rules and wait the 2 months and document every step so I get my $120 back. Happy Holidays from a newly diagnosed diabetic. I do not recommend this company for anyone.

They are scammers - they charge you for nothing and refuse to respond when you complain - just keep charging. AVOID at all costs! MyDiabetes has contacted me and agreed to cancell the subscription.

My wife was duped by MyDiabetes. She thought she was just signing up for a 1-week free trial. I wasn't aware that they were taking £33 every month until after the second payment. They manage to make it very hard to see this in their terms and conditions. AVOID.

While this ap claims free this is very far from the truth. The “free” trial is 7 days and they automatically charge $35 per month on your account so be careful. Hard to cancel and get help. Always auto replies. I have a dispute with my credit card company. The ap isn’t even worth it. They don’t have any added value worth $420 a year.
