I signed up to my diabetes for a free trial and was quickly charged a fee. I cancelled immediately and they refunded me. However 3 months down the line, yesterday in fact, they took £21 out of my account and then tried to take a further two payments of £54. Thankfully my bank denied the last two payments. I tried to email my diabetes requesting a refund of £21 and asking them to please take my name and details off their database, I have not received a response. I sincerely hope this is not going to be an ongoing battle.

The "free app" ends up as a $35/month subscription service. Charged my account $1.00 initially but then $35/month and have yet to refund once I saw the charges and canceled. Filed a refund request with PayPal but it was denied based on information provided by MyDiabetes. After cancelling they sent an email to ask if I was satisfied. LOL Still no refund. I should also point out that the charge is billed from a company called “Innodiet” which is not mentioned in their T&Cs.

Total rip off they have your money and you’re not getting it back! I did the online quiz as I've been warned my sugar was high I'm then asked to pay £1 so they've got your bank info. I wasn't impressed by the app so never looked at it again until i see £33 taken from my account leaving me in financial hardship for the rest of the month. I have emailed the site twice and hot no reply. Had i seen all the comments i have since i wouldn’t have touched the app at all. They tell you to contact customer support but then don't reply or tell you it’s in the t&cs which you don't read if you don't know you've signed up! Any decent company would send you an impending charge notification but not this one! AVOID

I paid for a one month membership. They tried to sell me a lot more junk that I'm not interested in. When I got to "Download app," it wouldn't download. Was that because I didn't fall for the other stuff they tried to sell? Right now, I am getting absolutely NOTHING for my money. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS AD.

I checked my PayPal today and discovered I had two charges from MyDiabetes - one for £8 and one for £33 . I was unaware of a subscription - checked my emails and discovered my initial contact which confirmed one month free trial - cost £0 and confirmed trial would end after a month unless I updated the subscription . I’ve never used it - haven’t created an account and now PayPal won’t refund . Give this a wide berth

J ai souscrit à cette application le 23/12/2024 pour un mois au tarif de 19,60€ et j ai été prélevé hier de 39€ et 8€ alors que je n ai rien commandé. Et de 19,60€, ils passent à un prélèvement de 47€…. C est du vol. Je demande un remboursement et, à priori, ils refusent. Je ne peux que vivement vous déconseiller ce site

I used My Diabetes for a few months and I found it very helpful. I now have the condition under control and the renewal subscription did not represent value for money. I contacted the customer service team who told me I was not able to get refunded even though I contacted them as soon as I saw the charge. I told them I would process a chargeback and at that point they promised a refund. That was over a week ago and I cannot contact them as I am no longer subscribed! MyDiabetes have promised a refund and have replied with a standard T&C excuse, see response below. I will continue to fight for a refund. In the meantime I urge you not to sign up. This company do not appear to value customers.

I paid for one month to try the app out, but they took off for a second month without me knowing, the amount was more than double what I paid for the first month, and they did not let me know or have my permission to do so, beware of their small print, I feel cheated, I let them know 3 days after they took the money off, that's when i noticed the debit, they refuse to refund.
