in the beginning, my purpose for coming was twofold. before it was over my partner decided it wasn't for her, and she is now on to other things in her life. As for me? I stayed and had the opportunities to complete all the sessions I had with my counselor, Joe M. he provided me stability, and i could feel he cared and was genuine in his nature. He helped me overcome my PTSD, which I will always be eternally grateful for and to this day have not suffered, thought, talked about any of these things. I suffered for 25 years clinically diagnosed with this due to combat, and then the loss of an arm, later in years. So, it's a very big deal to me for sure. I understand Joe has moved on and I miss very much talking with him, so please relay my heartfelt gratitude. My life is better than ever, my trust in GOD stronger, due to him and your organization being GOD grounded has made every difference. Your staff, your easy way of being able to communicate, from the front desk, through the finance department came all together or none of this would have been possible. None of it. I am glad you were here, I'm thankful and I feel grateful every day. I found the counselor to be extremely expensive! $195/hour and all she wanted us to do was read a book together. I think that is crazy. Then she wanted to meet with my husband and I separately before our second meeting as a couple. She met with us back to back days. Little did we know we were getting charged $195 each! The first session she just talked the whole time and said who she was….and that was $195. Then after those 3 sessions she asked us to buy a book and read it then we would come back and discuss it. We needed to cancel a session one day because my kids stayed home from school sick snd throwing up. We tried to contact her but couldnt. We were charged for the session but couldn’t meet because of sick kids. The scheduler emailed me and said it had to be 24 hours in advance notice. I found that no grace was offered. Then I tried to reschedule a session with the counselor and was told I couldn’t come tact her but had to go through the scheduler. That was the final straw. If I can’t contact my counselor then why in the world am I paying $195 a session to talk with her?!! I will never use the service again or refer anyone to MyCounselor online.
