I have tried to cancel multiple times. I keep calling and emailing and they say no such account exists for me, or the emails just go unanswered. Awful customer experience. I just want to be refunded.

Their advertising is misleading. They claim their is a free trial period...then they immediately billed my credit card for $129. which is their monthly charge for services. I needed help straightening out my email not being delivered to my inbox. I had to stop the credit card because they will not respond in any way to my messages for a refund. They won't even acknowledge I'm pissed!!

This company is a ripoff. Watch your charge card. I signed up for a free trial and within a single day there were 3 charges on my bank card totaling almost $500. You can't talk to anyone. You have to cancel your account online and then they say they will refund your money (eventually). I'm really upset about this.

Why does mxtoolbox host scams on their website? A search in google for uceprotect scam shows many articles talking about the monthly fees charged by uceprotect to be on their claimed "whitelist".

Seems to be a common theme… Signed up for a free trial and was then charged for months despite getting in contact with their customer service. Stick well clear!

Couldn’t recommend any less. Be warned before giving them your credit card details. This company continued to charge me multiple times despite requests to cancel. I couldn’t access the account because it was my old employee’s so I contacted them directly in regard to the matter. We never used this service. It ended up costing me Over 1.6k and I’ll now have to have the bank go and dispute it with them. They can clearly see no login and account access but are choosing to refuse to refund. I had to reach out to the ex-employee to login and get it canceled. Matt was very rude upon request to refund. Lacks integrity.

I can understand why the reviews are so bad here. We did a trial for MXtoolbox and 2 years down the line realised they were still charging us, although we weren't using their service. At $99 per month that adds up (nearly $2.5k!). I called them to cancel the account and to see if they could give us a courtesy refund of some sort. After explaining the situation they told me that if I were to buy cable and not watch TV, I'd still pay. The best that they could do was give a one month refund. This isn't good business and I don't recommend using this company.
