After trying for 10 years and getting back responses like 'not quite what we're looking for but we'll keep your track on the record for future use,' then on the 13 March 2021, I finally get a surprise email from Music Xray congratulating me because my song - I Am Your Man - has been selected. It feels like my heart is about to explode I am so happy. The only problem is that where it says click here to follow up with this Music Industry Professional, it takes me to a blank page that says 'The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.'I will try following up and sorting out this problem with CEO Mike McCready, and perhaps he can assist me as he has done so in the past. Will keep you updated.

So far so good. The site is easy to use and gives you a chance to get your music in front of people that may have never seen it otherwise. I submitted a song to my first opportunity and was selected. Time to see where this takes me!

I'm happy to have had a song selected although it's been a week and I still don't know who selected it or what,if anything, they are going to do with it. Is it normal to wait...I sent a thank you message immediately but there has been no reply so far. Other songs are processing or pending....delayed responses kill the excitement!

I was selected but I've got no idea who selected it and what the next steps are. I have been using your site for years and it is not user-friendly or progressive in the least. And it is very expensive for the amount of support and placements that actually happen. I have come across people on your list who have died but the listings were still there, was offered deals for my music that were not equitable and so I declined and now another selection but silence on the other end. Your site needs better IT integration, database tracking for musicians to keep better track of who submissions were sent to and what the outcomes are so they can be reviewed at any time, ratings about the truth of some of the people and organizations who are requesting music. Yes, I can read reviews but they are always nice because no one wants to risk the truth. So I'd go anonymous on that one. Fiverr.com does a 2 part survey one facing and one behind the scenes.

I've been using Music Xray for 5 years now and I'm very pleased with their service. Communication back and forth has been very good when I have had any questions and have had good success with high quality submissions. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the feedback from MIP's at initial upload has slowed in the last couple of years.

After several years of being an X Ray Artist, after many rejections and “passes,” and “Thanks, but not what we’re seeking,” a few “holds” and finally my first “SELECTION,” I could be immaturely bitter and say something like, “Well, it’s about d*** time...” But I would much rather talk about my continuous creative journey while being a Music X Ray Artist...I would rather talk about how I have built relationships with several MIP’s, and how their comments made me even more determined to be a better songwriter, a better lyricist, and a better overall composer and musician...so, to tell you about my experience in a word or two, to this point in my 64 years of living, and over 45 years as a musician/songwriter.....those words would be “Grateful, Humble, and Thankful”... Thanks, Mike...and THANK YOU, MUSIC X RAY! Sincerely, Julius “JUICE” Davis, Jr., aka JuiceThaBlackBeethoven
