I’ve been with musicxray for quite a few years and have had mostly good response from those of whom I’ve submitted songs to. I’ve had many songs selected for radio play and movies. However in the movie selection, there is no guarantee your song will be selected when it comes to the final cut.. For a simple way to submit songs, this platform works well. The critiques are helpful. And it does matter what you send. Listen to samples if they provide links. Being that I’m much older and trying to work my way in a new and different market, it keeps me on my toes to learn what the young people like.

Musicxray takes your submission and runs it through a diagnostic (for a small fee) where your songs are reviewed by industry professionals. The ratings are very beneficial when looking for the numerous opportunities that are available on the website, or emailed directly to you. I’ve had several conversations with music industry professionals interested in my songs. Musicxray also offers as part of their ratings a benchmark of where your song stands in relation to other submissions. The ratings are honest and forthright. Lots of great music out there, and Musicxray has seemed to figure out how to find that “needle in a haystack.” Great customer service too.

I need more variety and businesses, radio stations, including others should receive more reminders about late responding. The process of having a new track established for service is quite slow also. Time is of the essence and I have online fans waiting

Smooth process

Thanks to Music Xray I can target my searches rather than following many paths of the unknown. I was paired with Women of Substance and my song I Am Somebody by Denise Foster was accepted for play. I am very grateful to Women of Substance and Music Xray. The many previous declines are well worth this one yes. I will continue to use Music Xray as a GPS to search for opportunities to submit my music.

I was happy to get selected by this PR group, whiplash. I couldn’t tell for certain if it was a legit company though. Upon doing a little research, there were a fair amount of negative reports and some scam alerts about the company. I was concerned about it so reached out to music x-ray and did hear back from Adam about your selection process. One critique I have is it’s kind of difficult to contact Music x-ray. I wish there was more of a direct contact number where one can talk to a real person in the future. Thanks, Eric
