This is a follow up to my previous complaint. It looks like the site has been updated, or am I mistaken? If so, the response I received about the site being under maintenance was a bold faced lie. You still only get 1 page to preview and the remainder of the pages are partially blurred out. the side notations give the range, but there is no way to check the arrangement or see key changes, lyrics, etc. What a perfectly horrible thing to do to such a wonderful and trusted site. Now they want you to pay for the product before you can see it! Yeah, that's gonna work for a lot of people. That's how I buy shoes... I try on one shoe, I'm not allowed to tie it or see or even try on the other shoe, but the store expects me to buy the pair... Does that really make sense to anyone? Shame on you! Shame. I'll have to look for another site that trust people with whom they work. I'll never use this site again! I have no idea what to tell my students, but hopefully one of them can lead us to another site we can truly trust.

Hello Jack, We have updated our full preview experience. Subsequent pages for multi-page arrangements are view only and will preview a portion of each page after the first page of the product. The Quick Details section to the right of the sheet music preview provides information on voicing and range, depicting the lowest note to the highest note for the selected transposition of the product. At Musicnotes, we foster the creation of music by advocating for and rewarding its creators. Musicnotes has established a longstanding commitment to support songwriters and artists through legal commerce. Protecting intellectual property and the livelihood of content creators does make sense to us; we serve 7 million+ musicians worldwide, some of whom publish their works with us! We understand these changes may not please everyone. To our knowledge, we are the only online retailer to offer full product previews for digital sheet music arrangements. We hope you're able to find another source for your sheet music if you find our service untrustworthy. We couldn't see any recent purchases under your name, but we wanted to let you know that we're happy to refund any orders you've placed. Please send an email to [email protected].

Bought music, couldn't download it and had to get "pro" subscription which said it allowed free PDF versions of purchased sheet music. Went to download purchased sheet music and had to pay more for the "free" PDF. This website is crooked. Do Not Use this site. There are many others that are honest.

This a hopeless web site when things do not go right. After making a purchase and trying to download the windows music player I have given up, All reviews of the digital download programme give a one star rating. The windows store is useless with download always saying download is pending but with no way to move forward. The main web site gives the usual runaround with FAQ that ignore the problem

Hi Bob, we’re sorry to hear that you’re having problems downloading the app; we want to provide a sheet music experience that impresses. Have you tried logging in and out of your Microsoft account? This can help fix the problem. If it doesn’t and the issue persists, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can investigate this further. Thanks!

Erin
As a dancer/singer, i often have to buy sheet music for auditions, and often in different keys. But as someone in the arts, money doesn't come by easily, so the fact that if my crappy printer refuses to print, i have genuinely no other options and can never get my sheet music!!! The fact that i have to pay MORE money just to save the music that i've already paid for is outrageous. So bc of that, there's no actual way for me to get my sheet music in person bc i can't send it to someone else to print, or take it on a USB to print at the shops or something. If i've paid $10 for (quality) sheet music that i can crappily buy somewhere else for $4, i expect to be able to save the bloody thing. All other places/sites include the download when you buy it, so if you wanna tell me yall charge extra bc of "honouring the rights of the artist" or whatever, how about you just add the download price to the original price????? I mean, more than $2 just to save it is utterly ridiculous.

For future reference, our print center does ask if you were able to print successfully, and you can access a digital copy of the file through our app on our website via "My Account." Please email us via [email protected] so we can provide a resolution. Thanks!

Downloaded free version Musicscore apps form iStore. In about one month was charged $15.00. When tried to call them - no one picked the phone, forcing me to leave a message. Left a message (twice) but no one called me back. Last option for me to communicate and discuss this issue was email. They refused to remove charge so I was forced to contact my credit card. Never again dealing with Musicnotes.com.

Hi Boris, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We do not offer any apps or services by the name of Musicscore. The records we hold at Musicnotes, Inc for our website, www.musicnotes.com indicate you signed up for a Pro Plus membership on our website. You contacted us after hours, left a voicemail, and we followed up with you the next day. Our customer support team clearly explained the process of requesting a refund while also disputing a payment with your bank. Please feel free to email us via [email protected] if you have any feedback or require further assistance.

The music selection is decent, but many times the sheet music isn't written correctly for the key signature. I had an issue where I was getting e-mails about religious music over and over. When I finally said, enough is enough and I contacted support, they kindly showed me how to unsubscribe from their music site. Just before I followed up, I noticed there is a button for "christian only" music (which mine was turned off), but no such thing for filtering out that kind of music or any other religious type of music. Can you say religious discrimination? Any futher contact with musicnotes.com support was followed up by them with blank e-mails designed to let you know they don't care and they don't want non-christian customers. I will definitely be checking out other music sheet libraries now that I know the truth. This is after being a 10+ year subscriber/member. Go find a better place to purchase your sheet music. You deserve better than musicnotes.com
