The shoes are marked on the back with the words NICEICE in large letters, although that is not shown on the shoe on the order page. The shoes do not appear to be "orthopedic" since the sole is made of hard plastic (think child's toy) and has no give when walking. The special arch inserts are foam. If you need to return the shoes, you are responsible for payment to China.
