I use the branch in White River Junction VT. The folks there are always friendly, professional and helpful. Especially John R. I have no complaints about this branch. However, their telephone customer service is abysmal. IF you can actually talk to someone, they can rarely help you and refer you to the branch. The customer service at any branch I have been to has always been top notch. If possible, always use the nearest branch and NOT the 800 customer service line.

I had the best experience at the M&T Bank branch in Old Town Alexandria. I had scheduled an appointment through the bank's customer service number. When I arrived, unfortunately the person with whom I was scheduled to meet was on vacation. Instead of asking me to reschedule, rock star relationship manager Yessi Diaz said she would be happy to meet with me. A couple of fees had been charged to my account. Yessi reversed all of them and gave me some tips on how to better utilize my business banking account. She was a total pro. If you're in or near Old Town and have banking needs of any kind, visit Yessi and her amazing team. They will WOW you!

I went there on September 3, 2026, they had block my card and put fraud on it. I was told the only way to get it off I had to go in person.I went in person and this nice young man Name Mathew Olivencia help us he was so polite and helpful and explained everything to us. He also made sure our card was working before we left out. Good job! When we first came in the door,We was greeted by someone and she was very nice and polite. It was really a good experience. Thank you M&T BANK. Good job!! Everyone there was really nice n polite!

M&T is the best bank I ever banked with. I’m nearing 70 years old so I’ve belonged to many banks in my life. I’ll sum it up. Even though I’m far from well off, basically living month to month on Social Security anytime I reached out to M&T for a variety of reasons I am treated like I’m the wealthiest customer they have. I really appreciate the customer respect and very patient and friendly customer service I am giving. Thank you M&T

I have been a member of the M&T Bank for a great number of years and they have always treated me with the utmost respect and they are always willing to help me with any questions or assistance that I have/need.

Estoy en PR hace pal de meses cuidando de mi papá le envié dinero a mi hija desde acá obvio me envían mensaje de fraude y me comunico rápido para dejarles saber que era yo la persona que me atendió al igual que la traductora muy amables me ayudaron que quede sumamente satisfecha porque hasta que no se envió el dinero la representante del departamento de fraude se quedó conmigo en el teléfono. Excelente servicio por eso le doy 5 estrellas las pocas situaciones que tengo con ellos siempre me resuelven al 100 no me arrepiento de abrir mi cuenta con ustedes.
