I wanted to twrite a review and I was shocked and to be honest, mortified by the negative reviews. I call the home owners assistance center to pay my installments. I just like the face to face service still. I spoke with a home owners assistance specialist by the name of Robert. Last names should be a secret. Now M@T have helped me in the past when the chips were down and I should have written one then. I just want to go on record that Robert received me wth such a warm greeting and I know these questions can be cumbersome and customers get impatient, but Robert was beyond kind and courteous. I needed to open a business account quickly. I made an appointment to see Julie Howard 20 minutes after I made the call. An hour later I had a business checking and a business savings account and was promised all documentation within five business days. Julie was very efficient, knew how to process all the documents I had to bring and I had an open account 1 hour later. Speed was of the essence since I was expecting a wire from overseas and needed all the account numbers etc. First rate, professional service from Julie Howard at Manufacturers and Traders Bank, High Ridge Road, Stamford.

I have been with M&T Bank for almost 6 years. I have found every single person I have worked with professional and helpful. I have M&T loans, checking, savings and credit cards. Never an issue. I also personally know of many others who also use M&T and have never had an issue. I was shocked when I saw the negative reviews!
