I signed up for a rental car with Wisecar, an auto rental broker I was unaware of. However, I did so because Expedia listed it as an option. As it turned out, Wisecar directed me to Movly, and I followed the directions to download the app. I received information about my actual rental 60 hours before the pickup, and all information was provided through the app--no separate contract was provided. Things worked out well, ultimately securing me a rental (through Budget Rent-A-Car) for the specified period at a price about 20% lower than the next best alternative.

The checkin to the app was smooth and great. The 48 hour before process was also smooth. However, we were told we’d get a Mercedes C. When we arrived at Budget, they didn’t tell us what was the exact car until we went out to the garage. There we were told that “no luxury cars are available“. I guess that was the piece that should be improved. If the original car isn’t available there has to be some recompense to the customer.

How easy it was to change/update my reservation. Agents were very helpful and friendly.

Overall, our experience was good. The only problem was that it was unclear from the Movly documentation whether to check in with Budget or Thrifty. Took some time to sort out.

Super easy. My only reservation about using Movly again, is not getting to choose the rental car company. Anyway, everything went fairly smoothly for a good price

PROCESS TO RENT A CAR WAS RESONABLY SMOOTH. ONLY BAD POINT IS THAT THERE IS NO CONFIERMATION OF CAR BOOKING AND WHICH RENTAL CAR AGENCY CONFRIAMTION FOR DAYS LATER. THIS LEAVES AN ANXIOUS FEW DAYS WAITING AND LEADS ONE TO BELIEVE YOUVE BEEN SCAMMED.

The rental was outsourced to Budget on both islands in Hawaii. The first time I was notified. The second time I had to guess, and it was Budget. You failed to tell me where to report and did not answer your phone. Budget gets and A, Movly get a C.
