The movers came with one (maybe two) pads that would be used to protect furniture. As a result we found many scrapes and bruises on teac furniture. I would think that you would require your sub-contractors to carry a full supply of pads.

My move was interstate and more than 1500 miles apart. It was hazzle free. All of their services were excellant. I will not hesitate to use their services again.

Call center staff were prompt and professional. Quotes were great and clear. Booking was solid. Drivers were on time and very professional. Would highly recommend these guys, they did great with our cross country 2300 mile trip.

Overall the MovingPlace was a great option that I would highly recommend.

I hired The Moving Men to empty the shed and garage from one house and take it to another nearby (8 miles). Gideon communicated with me prior to the move to ensure that we were on the same page and confirm all details. He and his partner showed up on time, promptly, and understood the task easily. I did not need to micromanage at all. The unloading went great and they finished well within the 2 hour window I paid for. The pricing was very reasonable; much less than other estimates I had gotten. I can definitely recommend The Moving Men and will use them again when needed.

Truck delivery was on time and clean. Trailer was packed as per schedule and delivered as per schedule. Driver called before hand and was very courteous. All in all moving service was great. Phone support was excellent.

I was worried about this being a legitimate company because I was moving furniture from a place where I didn’t and never lived to my new home across the country. I researched as much as I could, but still was unsure about whether I was being scammed. I was staying at a hotel so I couldn’t store the trailer and they agreed for me to drop off my shipment at a faculty in Houston. All of this seemed too good to be true. I purchased my flight to Houston and kept my fingers crossed that everything would work out. The day started rocky because I couldn’t find the facility (since I’m unfamiliar with Houston). I was RELIEVED when I called, texted, and emailed (while they were on break) and they called me back immediately. Not only did they call me back, they stayed on the phone with me until I got back to the facility where I could load my items and they knew I wouldn’t have any problems. I couldn’t ask for a better handoff! If you are afraid to use this company because you can’t “see” them or walk into their office, rest assured they are legitimate and very personable. I can’t remember the woman’s name, but she sensed my concern and took as much time as necessary to calm my fears. It was the kind of customer service this country used to have. This company isn’t a scam. They are a legit company that will work over time to make sure you are at ease. Spending that much money requires a trust that is hard yo give these days BUT trusting that this company is legit was a great move on my part 🥳🥰
