Excellent Service all around! We just moved our belongings from Portland OR to the UK. Chuck Crosslin was our contact and made the move as smooth as we could possibly hope. The local Portland contractor, O'Neill, was professional and packed everything perfectly. The local UK contractor, Brittania movers, we also wonderful. Communication from start to finish was exceptional. Everything was clearly explained and timely. I can't recommend them enough if you are considering moving overseas. The transit took about 10 weeks. Not a scratch on anything. This is an unsolicited review.

I’m paranoid enough about movers that I built an AI research tool to dig through company histories, business records, reviews and forums before choosing one. Rainier survived the homework. Then absolutely nailed our move from Los Angeles to Marseille. David Wiviott was our contact throughout: knowledgeable, straightforward and endlessly patient with my questions. The price was more than competitive, and everything I wanted covered was in the quote, right down to parking permits and carrying our furniture up three flights in Marseille. The packing crew in LA, the ocean shipment and timing, the customs and delivery team in France—all excellent. They even accommodated a last-minute delivery date change on our side. Everything arrived without a single scratch. I’ve had moves across town do more damage. This felt like someone had teleported the contents of our house. An enormous thank you to David and everyone involved. All that research paid off. I’d choose Rainier again in a heartbeat.

Chuck and his team were fantastic! We had an excellent experience with our recent shipment from the USA to Italy, and couldn't say more positive things about Chuck and his team. Chuck explained everything thoroughly, and did his best to keep our costs down, despite the fact that we were sending items from two different locations and had to have a shuttle at destination. He was also quick with each question and had nearly immediate responses, which was fantastic given we live on the east coast. (When does he sleep?!) The packing was careful and professional, and none of our breakables - including specially crated art - were damaged in transit. Additionally, the colleagues in Italy went out of their way to ensure that our shipment wasn't delayed at port or due to a national holiday AND a transit strike in Italy. They took their time and unpacked all of the items that we requested, assembling tables and other furniture with care and respect. We are a military family and have made several international moves, so we aren't newbies. We would rank Chuck and Rainier Overseas at the top of the list! Highly recommended.

We recently relocated to New Zealand from the United States, and we hired Rainier Overseas Movers to transport our cargo. While it was difficult to be without our belongings, our shipment was handled expertly on both sides of the globe, and has arrived safely without any issues whatsoever. Dave was our main contact in the states. He was a patient and helpful resource. No question was left unanswered... and I asked a lot of questions! The packing team was exceptional and within 2 days, our items were packed and ready to fill a 40’ container. Additional questions that arose during transport were responded to promptly by either Dave in the USA or Teresa, the New Zealand contact. It was great to see the vessel tracking site and know where our cargo was at any given point. Once our cargo arrived in New Zealand, Teresa of World Moving and Storage became our main contact. She was as patient and kind as was David. Everything went extremely smoothly. We were very impressed with the delivery crew; they were polite, careful, and very professional. We are still unpacking boxes but so far, we have found everything to be in excellent condition.
