The customer service that I received when I called with questions was outstanding. Katharine was completely knowledgeable and able to help us get the most out of the Personal Statement review. The reviewer was outstanding; the edits were clear and very insightful. Very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Motivate MD. I would suggest that the same reviewer always be available for the follow-up phone call. That worked extremely well, and I appreciated having the reviewer on the phone call.

Realistic mock interviews with high yield feedback!!!
I found the Motivate MD residency interview packages to be an invaluable investment. The mock interview sessions felt incredibly realistic, covering high-yield interview questions I actually encountered in my real interviews! What stood out most was the timely and personalized feedback. I even received video recordings that allowed me to review my performance and catch small mannerisms/vocal tics I hadn't even noticed. It truly helped me build the confidence needed to walk into my top-choice programs feeling prepared. Highly recommend for any M4 looking to polish their delivery!

I had one medical school interview, and I went to Motivate MD for help preparing. The team was fantastic, with people genuinely interested in giving me the best chance of getting an acceptance. The customer support team was great, working with me personally to create a mock interview schedule that worked for my busy schedule. They helped me gain my one and only acceptance letter!

My motivatemd experience
I received feedback and support throughout most of my application cycle. As a reapplicant who wasn’t sure about my mistakes or how to capitalize on my unique profile, motivatemd gave me a direction that even ChatGPT wasn’t capable of doing! With essay editing, personal statement review, and interview practice I learned how to showcase the side of me I was confident in but also the side medical schools wanted to see! Highly recommend for those unsure or needs that confidence boost!

I worked with Motivate MD this match…
I worked with Motivate MD during this match season and successfully matched into Psychiatry. Status IMG.
I’m giving them 4 out of 5 stars. They provided excellent support with application editing and personal statement (PS) development. Their team includes amazing physician-resident editors who clearly know what they’re doing, and the quality of feedback was very strong. They also offer interview preparation, which is helpful.
However, the main downside was the lack of follow-up. After completing the main application process, there was no check-in regarding how many interviews I received, whether I matched, or how things were progressing overall. Because of this, there was no guidance or preparation for unexpected situations like SOAP.
I personally had only one interview and was fortunate to match, but I truly believe that was by God’s grace. If I hadn’t matched, there would have been no support or preparation for SOAP at all, which is a critical part of the process.
Overall, they provide strong editing and interview prep services, but improved follow-up and continued support especially around SOAP—would make their service significantly better.
