What a God sent ! My dear husband suffers from dementia. He thrashes, kicks and moans loudly in his sleep making both his rest and mine difficult. I bought him a mans size 10lb blanket several weeks ago and he has slept like a baby since! His thrashing has totally disappeared. His loud moans have softened so they are not bothersome for my sleep. And he wakes up refreshed. I bought less weight than was recommended but it is perfect for our situation.

The blankets are lovely quality and really help with sleeping. The service was outstanding and the delivery fast.

I ordered a pink minky fabric blanket as well as a black minky lap pad for my daughter. She uses the lap pad at school, in the car and at home. She sleeps with the blanket every single night. I ordered the weighted blanket for my 2 year old who was having trouble sleeping. She used to wake several times through the night absolutely screaming with anxiety and nightmares. It was impossible to get her back to sleep. After purchasing the weighted blanket, she is like a brand new kid! She started sleeping straight through the night 10-12 hours. If she does wake after kicking the blanket off for some reason, I'm able to put her right back down. Great selection of fabrics. I love the ability to choose the amount of weight in the blanket. Bought it for my daughter to help with anxiety at bedtime. I am also an occupational therapist in the school setting and will be recommending these blankets to families. The only thing to note is that the size of the medium blanket was smaller than hoped. It doesn't cover my daughter fully at night which she wanted, so double check the dimensions for the child you want to use it.
