I didn't think that the blanket would…
I didn't think that the blanket would be this small; I ordered a large but what I got really was something that made it impractical to use in light of the small size. I am approximately 6'0 and weight 180; this wasn't what I had expected and what I thought I was getting was something substantially bigger. Unfortunately, I have shelved this blanket in the closet and don't think I may be using it in the foreseeable future...

This was the worst purchase of my life
This was the worst purchase of my life. It felt like someone had cheaply put together a bunch of bean bags. When I put the blanket on top of me all the weight slid down to the side. Which left me feeling like I had no weight on me and cheap fabric. The “blanket” looks nothing like it did in the picture. Do not buy this. I’d be happy to recommend a different brand.

I spent $250 on a blanket based on…
I spent $250 on a blanket based on seeing in several places on their site that blankets are returnable, only to find out the one I ordered turned out not to be returnable. Now I have a totally unusable $250 blanket. It is beyond uncomfortable -- it is cold and never really warmed up, it is so heavy I have trouble breathing under it; I received no benefits at all. Living on social security, this is a devastating financial loss for me. Don't buy one. You might find out that an offering that looks stock turns out to be custom. Regardless of their alleged 7-day return policy, shockingly, my blanket came with a note in the box that it was not returnable. Following up on the response from the manufacturer to this review, the blanket arrived with a non-returnable note. Why would I call and challenge that? Their note below is in the same vein as selling an expensive and unusable blanket, following their chart instructions for suggested weight, and then refusing to allow a return. Don't order from this company.

We do have a 7 day return policy - wish you had reached out to us. We do have a 7 day return policy because this is a bedding product. We recommend 10% of ideal body weight but some people need a lighter blanket, please contact us at 512 567 8943 to discuss your date of purchase. Thanks!

I ordered the large throw for my husband who is 77. It is so horribly heavy that I can hardly move it and he hates it. He cannot even move underneath it. I went by the company's recommendation for weight. It has never been used but the company says you cannot send back the big ones. Bad and expensive experiment.

Not received purchase yet after 1 month
Have not yet received purchase almost 1 month later and have heard no updates as to order status. Not impressed. Would not recommend.

Holly, you placed your hand sewn Minky blanket on January 6th and it shipped January 31st. Your order confirmation stated it takes approximately 2-3 weeks time to produce these with Minky being a bit longer due to its quality of material. We have tried to call you but your number has been disconnected.

Still have not received my blanket
Still have not received my blanket. For the extraordinary price, this is not acceptable.
Response from Mosaic Weighted BlanketsFeb 2, 2018
Caylie, Your hand sewn item was made in normal turn around time (approximately 2 weeks from time of placement of order to the time it left our warehouse). You also live in Canada which adds to the expense of shipping as you incur international fees. Lastly, you ordered an 18 lb blanket. Shipping costs are determined by UPS.

This was terrible. Don’t waste your money!
This was a Christmas gift. The blanket was not good quality and when attempted to return they want you to pay the shipping plus a restocking fee- so you’re forced to keep it. Also overpriced.
Response from Mosaic Weighted BlanketsJan 19, 2018
We are accepting holiday returns and we do not have a restocking fee. Feel free to reach out to our at the number on our website or at [email protected] if you are unhappy - our prices are very competitive for the weighted blanket market and made in the USA. Thank you! Again please reach out to us and identify yourself if you are unhappy. Thanks
