Mosaic Weighted BlanketsReviews of mosaicweightedblankets.com

I purchased the king sized weighted blanket and the weight of it is great. On the other hand the quality of the blanket is not very good. The blanket is made of very thin sheet like fabric with the poly fill between the sheets. After a short time using the blanket it has already ripped and the poly fill went everywhere. This would be a much better product if it was made of a more durrible material that could withstand normal sleeping use.

Got the weight recommended for my size and felt suffocated. It was also so hot that it had to come off during the middle of the night. Some people may love it but it just wasn't for me. Unfortunately I cannot return it because of the policy which states essentially that any blanket 18 lbs or over cannot be returned because of shipping cost. Heck I would be glad to pay to have it shipped back because it would cost around $30.00 to ship and I would get back close to $200.00 so it would be worth it. I wish Mosaic would provide that option.

I had two poor experiences. The shoulder wrap arrived in a timely manner. However there were difficulties getting it to my son because of the USPS. That was not Mosaic's fault. The problem began when I inquired about the delivery. The responses from Mosaic were both condescending and not helpful. The benefits of weighted blankets are not widely known. When my son opened the package all he found was the shoulder wrap. There was no information about how or when to wear the wrap. I answered his questions as best I could. When I asked Mosaic customer service about the lack of instructions I was told that there are none and that I was the only customer to ever ask for directions. Wow. Very disappointing and I also find that a little hard to believe. I'm convinced that this lack of direction will result in my son not using the wrap and me wasting money. I'm very glad that I did not spend hundreds of dollars on an adult-sized blanket and have this negative experience.

Positives- The weight of the blanket definitely helps. negatives- Tiny beeds are sliding all over the place leaving it flat in about 75% of each square. It's also noisy and less comfortable then I expected. Great concept, I personally feel like there could be more done to balance it out and make it more comfortable.

I have returned the blanket, because of a former purchase of one. I am not satisfied with the performance of this item. I will have to keep the blanket I purchased, not because I want it, but because It cannot be returned after several nights use. If you are to continue with this policy you must ship the blankets with a disposable cover, to be kept on while in the trying out stage. How else would you know if this was a good product for you or not. Do not think this is a good policy. Therefore only a poor rating.

Very over priced for DYI kit , extremely thin flimsy fabric, they forgot to send extra ordered pellets and sewing directions with order however quickly resolved once made email contact but I emailed again with question regarding sewing and no one has responded

Blanket arrived with a $85 bill attached to it. I had figured it might get dinged with Canada taxes but I paid $60 USA money for shipping I wasn't prepared to spend the duty and extra processing fee. Which made this blanket almost $400- the blanket itself had a very strong smell that I have never smelt from the beads used. To return it would cost me money and I wrote to the company about my concerns and they didn't even write me back. Therefore how would I know that I would even see my money. Very concerned

Disappointed in the quality of the blanket. The fabric did not seem to be a of a high quality material. Upon receiving the blanket I opened it and was greeted by a cloud of chalk-shouldn't the chalk have been cleaned before sending it to a customer? The batting contained in certain squares is lumpy and not all of the squares had the batting in them. Certainly not worth the $281.00 for it. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!
