My assigned person was great, but...
My assigned person was great (thanks Robin!), but the overall value for the service is simply not there. $150 for someone to assist me in getting my FAFSA money, which I applied for myself, doesn't work. I was under the impression, after reading the website, that I would be getting assistance with scholarships as well, which is NOT part of the package. So i was very disappointed in the overall value of the service, and the lack of transparency on the site at sign up.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you had a great experience with Robin, but we’re very sorry you were disappointed in Mos overall. Our goal is always to get students the maximum financial aid possible. The process for each student will always vary depending on your unique circumstances. In many cases, Mos finds students additional government grants and scholarships. If a student does not qualify for additional grants or scholarships, though, we work with them to increase their existing financial aid by appealing to their aid office. Usually, this results in them getting upwards of $1000+ additional aid (a 6x return on investment). We hear you about transparency, and we’ll try to be clearer about this in the future.
