I recommend Morty and working with Nick and Keegan was a seamless experience. I began working with Nick just 30 days before close and he made it happen. I was a 1st time home buyer as well. After initially working with my personal bank, I decided to compare rates using one of the online lending marketplaces. Morty and a handful of others reached out shortly after that and Morty's rates were the most competitive. I was a bit skeptical that Morty was able to lock this rate so quickly, but the rate Morty first quoted me that day did in fact end up being my actual rate. We closed June 24th and during closing the settlement agent mentioned it was the lowest rate she'd ever seen. Granted rates are historically low now, and mine was point-heavy, but I'm sure she's been doing a ton of settlements recently and has been working with many well qualified buyers. As a final nod to Morty, I was camping in Montana during the underwriting process and was frequently without service, once for 7 days. Ian and Keegan made the process very easy and painless, and helped us solve any issues we encountered quickly and efficiently. Due to Covid-19, it was hard to find an appraiser in our area, but they managed to rush it through, and we closed only 2 days later than initially planned. It took us around 30 days to close from the time we chose Morty as our broker, and we couldn't be happier.
