Got the job done, but could have been better
They got the job done when the previous people had screwed it up, so that's good. They didn't give us the final amount until late in the afternoon the day before. I guess they were backed up. But they should have told us what to expect, so we could make plans to work around or manage expectations. And we had moved to them from the previous mortgage company (Wells), and unbeknownst to us, once the deal was closed, they sold it to Wells immediately. So when I saw Wells claiming the mortgage, I though they jerking us around. Again, it's okay for Mortgage America to sell the loan, but selling to the one we were avoiding was problematic, and they should have told us they were doing so.
