Customer support is not customer support. It’s seller support. Any staff member I’ve interacted with has been extremely disappointing. The site is unethical and immoral for not helping customers and only backing sellers.

Destroyed our family business - sellers beware - BUYERS DON'T SUPPORT
We are one of the top sellers in the reptile hobby. Almost 500 positive reviews on Morphmarket and had been on there since 2020. John (original owner) knew me by name. We sold a blue tegu to an educator (former customer) who has permits for educational animals in NC. We assumed all was ok with her permits and then got a notification that something was wrong. Our package got intercepted somehow. Morphmarket said they are illegal to own. Our customer literally has emails with NC fish&wildlife that went back and forth deciding if it was actually unlawful with her permits, and the fact that the laws state black&white tegus specifically. I said well what about the poor tegu, what is to become of it. They eventually decided to send it back to me...but then said the package got LOST! I was beside myself that they were so worried about catching this "illegal" transaction that they literally lost track of the animals they claim to be protecting. Well I guess they were protecting other wildlife from this dangerous invasive species. They finally found it and it made it back to me 1 WEEK LATER. Luckily it was a ok. But with that they took the excuse to launch an investigation through my whole account and combed through it (probably with AI). And made some vague claims that I shipped to other states where reptiles are not lawful, but did not list the specific instances or animals. And made a general claim that I had sold turtles/tortoises under 4" that I may not have told them were for "educational purposes only". Basically some questionable things that caused them to literally ban my account. Horrific. So many customers that I served for so many years, just instantly cut off. No conversation. No actual person to talk to. Just a vague cold sounding customer service email. We do heavy educational programs as a secondary side of the business and just went more full on with that as a result. As there has not yet come (but they will) a website other than MM to sell on that has decent traction. It's ever since Darien took it over that things really went downhill and most of the reptile community knows this and agrees. He is now basically in hiding after ruining so many lives. And early on, before he was in hiding he was on a banning spree and had a thing for anyone remotely associated with Samson Pruitt. I had baby retics produced by Samson Pruitt. I had them listed and of course mentioned who produced as they were still great animals, despite his reputation. I had no interest in all the online talk so wasn't aware of how insane Darien was with it all. Until (while we were literally educating special needs kids) got an email that our account was suspended! Just because we mentioned Samson produced the animals! He thought I was selling for Samson. 1 snake. He had zero proof besides the fact I was honest enough to tell people who produced the snake. Trigger happy. That's the culture he created. People walking on eggshells hoping they don't make a mistake, and people eager to report anything and everything without question. SELLERS BEWARE. BUYERS PLEASE DON'T SUPPORT THIS SITE. NEW ONES ARE COMING AND PROBABLY ALREADY HERE BY THE TIME YOU READ THIS. DARIEN DIDN'T EVEN CREATE MM. AND JOHN IS NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN CREATE A GREAT ONLINE PLATFORM.

Great place to buy and sell reptiles
Great place to buy and sell reptiles. They also have plants, fish, arachnids and other stuff that I don't buy or sell I tried other market places and literally no one uses them. Gotta go where the sellers and buyers are.

Morph market is trash
So. I got scammed. Stupid I know.
So, I ordered a I9 northern white female otiosus jumping spider (exactly as advertised with photos) from peaches spooderz by the way. DON'T BUY FROM HER.
I received a much younger male otiosus, I reached out to her, but she just argued and offered a pretty unfair solution, then before I could respond she blocked me.
I reported it to morph market. They have done absolutely nothing. So basically morph market allows just any backwoods "breeder" to sell live animals. And when you get scammed it's pretty much tough luck. Absolutely do not recommend using peaches spooderz or morph market at all. Just do the research into good and trustful breeders.

Serious concerns about MorphMarket’s Buyer Protection and dispute handling.
I purchased a bearded dragon through MorphMarket from Sovereign Geckos. The animal was advertised as a black female with specific genetics and characteristics, but when the shipment arrived, I immediately discovered that I had received a completely different animal: a bright red male leatherback. I contacted the seller immediately, and the seller eventually admitted that it was not the animal I purchased and said the original baby had died.Seller had another black female but did a bait and switch anyway. The seller also acknowledged that the babies had not been fed properly, and the animal I received was extremely undersized.
I contacted MorphMarket because this was clearly a material misrepresentation. During the dispute, MorphMarket presented two possible resolutions: refund with a return, or keep the animal with a partial refund. When the seller refused to resolve the matter on those terms, I proposed the partial-refund option that MorphMarket itself had presented. MorphMarket then told me I was not entitled to a partial refund. When I pointed out that MorphMarket had specifically presented that option in its August 22 communication, it disputed having offered it until I directed them back to their own communication.
The most concerning issue, however, was Buyer Protection.
MorphMarket repeatedly told me to return the animal first and that if the seller did not refund me afterward, I could then file for Buyer Protection. That was not what MorphMarket’s written policy said. The policy required the Buyer Protection claim to be initiated during the active dispute.
In other words, the period when I was actively disputing the transaction was precisely when I was eligible to invoke Buyer Protection. The seller’s refusal to resolve the dispute was not a reason I should have been considered ineligible. If anything, that was exactly why Buyer Protection was necessary.
I ultimately researched MorphMarket’s own policy myself and discovered that I needed to file the claim while the dispute was still active. I did so. MorphMarket then denied the claim, relying in part on the fact that I had not followed the seller’s requested return procedure.
This created a serious contradiction. MorphMarket was telling me to return the animal first and rely on Buyer Protection afterward, even though following that instruction could have caused me to miss the period in which the policy required me to file the claim.
Why would I reasonably trust that MorphMarket would protect me later, after I had returned the animal and potentially lost eligibility, when they were already refusing to protect me while I was actively within the dispute and eligible to invoke the program?
If I had followed their instructions, I could have ended up with neither the animal nor my money, while being told afterward that I was no longer eligible for Buyer Protection.
MorphMarket’s behavior speaks for itself. Its contradictory statements, shifting explanations, and handling of my dispute demonstrate its intent. If MorphMarket genuinely intended to protect me as the buyer, it would have clearly explained the correct procedure and allowed me to invoke Buyer Protection while I was eligible, rather than directing me away from it.
MorphMarket also told me twice that the handling of the matter was “in my favor,” yet the practical result was that the seller’s preferred resolution prevailed.
I have since found other public complaints and Trustpilot reviews describing concerns about MorphMarket’s dispute handling and inconsistent application of Buyer Protection. While I cannot independently verify every other complaint, the similarities are concerning.
This is bigger than my individual transaction. If a marketplace advertises Buyer Protection, buyers should be able to rely on that protection and receive clear, consistent information about how to use it.
If you have experienced similar issues with MorphMarket, I encourage you to document everything carefully and consider filing a complaint with the Kansas Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). You may also consider reporting the matter to your own state Attorney General.
In my experience, MorphMarket did not provide the transparency, consistency, or buyer protection that I reasonably expected from a marketplace offering a Buyer Protection program.

Absolute garbage!!
Absolute garbage!!! Their customer support is total joke! Dont waste your time or money. Deliver is a joke too some sellers use "its too hot" to ship to use your money as a free interst loan then wait til you are tired of waiting on your animal to ship and cancel. Use Wilbanks reptiles they stand behind their animals and customers.
