I placed a large order and 2 items have defects. I saw the rubber pad on the paddle hairbrush had come away when I opened the box and the 100ml pump on the Morrocan Oil does not work and I have wasted some oil taking the pump on and off trying to see why it won't pump. I put this pump up against an old one I had previously and noticed the tube is wider. Also the 8 free gifts was a little disappointing when 2 of them were just sample sachets. Really frustrating when spending so much money you can not call them when you have a problem. You can only email. Why? I love this oil and have been using it for a while but it's looking like there are now cut backs on quality. The hairbrush is of cheap quality not like the previous brushes I have bought before.

The website is not working properly and it takes customer service almost 10 working days before they reply back. Not been able to place an order and my previous purchase ended with I received the wrong product.. so my advice is to buy your Moroccanoil product in your local hairdresser or store.

My item still has not arrived. The tracking system just says that no information is available and no-one is answering my emails! No wonder they hide their telephone number!

Ordered a small bottle of light hair oil. Received super fast but the bottle was empty! It apparently leaked out as the box was yellow. I have emailed this company twice, as well as messaged through Facebook and Twitter and nothing. Nobody answers the phone and there is no voicemail - their message sounds like it was recorded in the bathroom. I may just go through PayPal to get a refund on this. Terrible customer service and I won't be buying through them again.

Terrible customer service. Ordered the oil directly from their website and received confirmation email. Estimated delivery time was 5-7 days. Over a month later I still have not received my product and emails went unanswered for over a week. When I finally did get a reply they were rude and dismissive and said they couldn't ship to my address (within the UK). No apology, no explanation for why they had accepted my order, and no explanation for why they couldn't ship to me. I did like their products, but lack of customer service has put me off using their products again. I would much rather give my money to a company with some decent morals.

I ordered some curl cream on 4th August, received an email on 5th to say it would be delivered in 5-7 working days. I've heard nothing since. There is no way to speak to anyone on the phone and emails go unanswered. I have contacted PayPal to get a refund and won't be buying online from Moroccanoil again.

Ordered on the 30/8, got a confirmation email but nothing since, I’ve emailed to enquire where my order is and heard nothing back so I’m beginning to think it’s a scam.

This review is purely customer service. I purchased the oil and found that the bottleneck was crushed and there was glass inside my product. I emailed them with the batch number and photographs. I kept being sent from one person to another and finally I was offered a replacement. I agreed and provided my details for the delivery following which I got confirmation that it has been sent. Weeks passed and the replacement didn't arrive, I contacted them again and was told to make a new claim so I had to resend the photos etc and was then told nothing can be done. I then said I was told a replacement is on its way and I was asked for all the details for the third time! Bearing in mind I got a case reference and it was all in one email thread. I gave up. The lesson for the future: buy from the store directly and open the product so you can complain right away to get it replaced because you won't get anywhere with the online 'support'.
