We take complaints of this nature seriously and have conducted a detailed review of your file, communications, and documented work history. While we understand your frustration and respect your right to share your experience, the allegation that no meaningful services were performed is not supported by our records. Our review confirms substantial work was completed on your file, including onboarding, cease-and-desist and dispute activity, bureau-related work, validation review, hardship and opposing-party communications, legal-document intake, dismissal-document retrieval efforts, post-cancellation support, and assignment to a Settlement Officer. Although Local Counsel was not ultimately assigned to the Capital One matters, the previously attributed litigation flat-fee value tied to that potential assignment was proactively removed during reassessment to ensure accuracy and fairness. Even after those revisions, the documented service value associated with your account remains significantly higher than the amount paid into the program. We also reject any implication that contractual provisions were concealed or improperly included. The dispute resolution and class action waiver provisions were included in the executed agreement package presented during enrollment, and your electronic acknowledgment reflects your acceptance of those terms. We are also aware of your statements threatening to “bring down” the firm if your demands are not met. While you are entitled to express lawful opinions, knowingly false, defamatory, coercive, or extortionate statements intended to damage the firm or improperly pressure payment may give rise to legal remedies and will be preserved accordingly. Dissatisfaction with the outcome does not invalidate the contractual terms or negate the substantial work performed on the account. Based on the documented history and services rendered, our position remains that a refund is not warranted on the merits. We encourage all further communications regarding this matter to remain professional and fact-based.

Our records confirm that we spoke directly with the client on January 15, at which time the concerns raised were addressed. During that conversation, the client requested cancellation of services; the account was formally canceled the same day, and the matter was fully resolved. At no point was communication ignored, and the file was handled in accordance with documented procedures. While we understand that financial hardship situations are stressful and emotions can run high, we take accuracy, transparency, and client care seriously. We wish the client well moving forward and respect their decision to pursue other options.
