This was not the modular couch experience i was expecting. You basically need to build your own couch. Each section has like 10-16 screws. The holes for the screws are all over the place and not clearly indicated. Had i known it would take me this long to put the couch together i would have gone with another brand like Cozey where the assembly is much easier and less time consuming. The sections also connect by just 1 piece so they end up swiveling. I would’ve returned it was it not such a burden to disassemble and repack the whole thing.

This is very disappointing. I ordered the JelliCouch L-Shaped Sofa, Corner Closed in the Copper color, and they sent me an entirely different color. The couch comes in four extremely heavy boxes, and instead of asking me to return just the covers, which would make the most sense, they want me, at 9 months pregnant, to ship the entire sofa back due to their mistake. On top of that, they don’t even know if they can get the Copper color, yet they continue to advertise it on their website. This company lacks professionalism.

I ordered a cabinet from Mopio. My bad for thinking I would get a quality item at such a low price. Assembling it took 5 hours. Not fun. Many of the pieces weren’t squared and the door was virtually impossible to hang square. The door mechanism came in pieces with no instruction on how to assemble it and it actually fell off after I assembled it. some of the other pieces weren’t labeled at all. Admittedly im not a professional furniture assembler but I shouldn’t have to be to put together a piece of furniture that I buy online. The material is so cheap looking and flimsy, with just the slightest ding causing scratches and cracks in whatever the surface is (it’s not a veneer as far as I can tell but something fake and cheap). Of course, I can’t return it because it’s out of the original packaging and damaged despite my attempt to be very careful assembling it. What a total waste of money. I will replace it as soon as I find something better.

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased the 39"retrovie book case/hutch and spent NINE hours putting this piece together. Despite paying meticulous attention to the instructions, the corners do not align, nor do the shelves. Additionally, there was a scratch in the middle of the piece that you see immediately upon looking at it. I have gone back and forth with mopio's chatbot customer service and their response to me was the alignment issues are "part of the intended design." For the scratch they offered me 10% back (on a $650 piece). Initially they indicated they would not require me to send it back; however, after a week of back and forth they asked me to take the entire unit apart and package it up and bring it back to a shipper, mind you it weighs 200+ pounds. Because I cannot get in touch with an actual customer service human, I have to go through the credit card company to dispute the charge and pay to have someone remove it from my apartment. Don't even think about buying this piece. Such a shame, because it is beautiful....in theory.

Mopio's customer service is so incompetent that although I really wanted to buy an entertainment center, they could not even tell me the size I was ordering. I kept receiving emails that it would be done by the next day, then it wasn't, then it was some team working on it? Again, this was the furniture I'd picked out and all I wanted to do was actually purchase it. There's no phone number, no human to talk to- I decided to go with West Elm who was responsive to me within a couple of hours- not just making excuses every few hours. I wouldn't trust this company to do anything but bill me. Customers deserve way better- and it is blatantly obvious they do not give their customer service staff any ability to actually do their jobs.

⸻ I purchased a 7-piece sectional for over $2,000 and received delivery within five days. While I appreciate the modular design and flexibility of the couch, my experience after delivery has been extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, several pieces were damaged, and some sections included what were clearly used legs. The legs were bubble-wrapped and stored inside the ottoman, so the claim that they were damaged during shipping is inaccurate. These were not new parts — they were visibly used. I contacted Mopio support immediately to resolve the issue. Over the course of a week, the back-and-forth communication resulted in inconsistent and unsatisfactory resolutions. The first offer was a 10% refund with no replacement. The second offer was 30% back on only the damaged section, which was less than the original offer, still without replacement. A third proposal involving replacement parts is still pending. Throughout this process, the explanations provided have not aligned with the condition of the items received. It has now been two weeks, and the couch is still not fully assembled due to waiting on a proper resolution. For a purchase at this price point, I expected significantly better quality control and customer service. A full replacement of the damaged components along with a partial refund to account for the inconvenience would have been a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

I purchased the Bruno outdoor set w/ a bench and 2 chairs. The bench is the ONLY piece from the original set that was sent to me that I have been able to put together. I contacted customer support, Emir & Batrisha are who “helped” specifically. In total I have been shipped 4 chairs and 2 tables, none of them machined properly. So much waste has been created with the cardboard/styrofoam packaging and useless pieces of wood that are not finished properly.. I still have no outdoor furniture to relax at and they refuse to refund. Customer service is rather condescending.

I still haven’t received one of my items
