I failed to check reviews before signing up to try Moo Moo but I can now confirm that reviews on here about the difficulty withdrawing your money from Moo Moo is real. I opted for the direct link method to deposit and withdraw, like all brokers, Moo Moo verified me and my bank account and accepted a deposit from me through my bank account. I found the platform slow because of the number of things to do to enter or exit a due to the number of pop up messages and unnecessary steps to enter and exit a trade. I decided to withdraw my money from moo moo. To my surprise I encountered stalling tactics designed to delay and block withdrawal. Here's my experience. I submitted the request to withdraw on Dec 22, received a notice saying request submitted so I thought it had gone through. On December 29 I was in my bank account and notice the withdrawal from Moo Moo wasn't there. Checked the moo moo account only to realise that rather than process my withdrawal they had sent me an email which unfortunately I did not see due to the holidays, asking me to verify myself again with a deadline. I resubmitted a request to withdraw again on Dec 29, did not receive an acknowledgement from Moo Moo so I emailed them on Dec 30 and was told that the request is PENDING. Why is a request to withdraw your available funds via direct deposit/ withdrawal method pending for, at this point, 3 days with Moo Moo? I know that customers make a choice to use these platforms and that I failed to do my due diligence and check the reviews before trying their platform but the fact that so many people have and CONTINUE to experience the same problems to withdraw their money means that regulatory bodies like FINRA are not aware of Moo Moo's predatory practices, which takes advantage of their position over clients funds once its in their hands. Moo Moo should be monitored by US regulatory bodies and maybe even congress should do some oversight into their practices as well. I intend to submit a formal complaint and write to my representative in congress and encourage others having problems to withdraw their money from moo moo to do the same.

It was the most terrible experience I ever had with MOOMOO. They completely trap you; first, they assign you an investment expert, and as you follow their lead and invest, several times, they allow you to earn 10% interest before asking you to sell the stock. Once they gain your trust, they begin asking you to invest as much money as you can; I trusted them and invested the maximum amount. Moomoo will retain deposits and push you to make a margin call. The support staff could not be reached. Poor customer service. So, I asked to terminate my account and withdraw my funds. The account cancellation process was extremely difficult, and I was unable to withdraw, and the stock price dropped unexpectedly, I nearly lost all of my money. I looked for a solution, and fortunately, I found 𝖯reston𝖶ealth𝖠dvocates. I contacted them and asked for an investigation into my missing funds.They started a dispute and eventually recovered my cash. I'm thrilled to share this experience!

Honestly, there's nothing beginner-friendly about this broker based on my recent experience. A week after opening my margin account, I spoke with a 'licensed trader' to get some help with using the trading features on the desktop, and his attitude was mind-blowing. He made it clear that MooMoo is a self-guided trading platform, and their team doesn't really have the time or resources to answer questions unless it's URGENT. I figured if they don't have time for their clients, I’m not wasting mine either. So, I moved all my money to a broker that actually values my business and provides the service I deserve.

Signed-up as new user at moomoo with offer of 6.8% p.a. return on your uninvested cash that should be paid monthly, after having uninvested cash for a few months and noticed no interest have been paid. Called the customer support, the person on the line asked me straight away have you activated the cash plus plan on the app? She was so fast with her answer and it seem like alot of other customers been caught out aswell. In the onboarding communication, they just ask you to transfer in money to earn interest but no where does the communication says you need to activate the Cash Plus plan in the app for interest to start calculating, it's deliberate act by Moomoo to not make this obvious so you transfer in money and not earn interest.
