Disappointed Customer
We had purchased a Flexsteel, leather recliner in 2006. The mechanical part of the recliner went bad and my husband was unable to use the chair. We were not able to talk to the person in charge of repairs for 2 weeks because he was on vacation(???) We wondered why another employee couldn’t handle our situation. Anyway, when the employee returned to work and returned our call we discovered the part wasn’t available for another 4 weeks. Eventually the part came in and after scheduling the visit, we are now waiting another week and a half. Wow! All that time for a mechanism for our recliner, and “no” it is not even electrical!

Pat, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We do our best to communicate and make notes of every communication on every service order for our customers. I apologize that it took longer for us to get the part for your chair. We worked with the manufacture to get a retrofitted mechanism for your chair as the style was discontinued after you made your purchase in 2006. The manufacturer was able to get us a retrofitted mechanism which took longer because it was not an "off the shelf" order. The manufacturer had to order the mechanism from their supplier and retrofit. Our service manager will follow up with you again after the mechanism is installed to make sure everything is working properly. -Matt
