I purchased the Number Cognitive Operation Bead Matching Game for my 3-year-old grandson and am very pleased with its variety of activities. Tonging and spooning are classic Montessori practical life activities that develop small-motor coordination. Color sorting is a pre-math skill. Using the indented cards to match numerals with the correct number of beads is great for developing number sense. The chopsticks are too difficult for most preschoolers unless your family regularly uses them, so I took them out, and I replaced the wooden spoon with a plastic one to make spooning easier. The tongs are just right for little hands and my grandson loves to use them.
