It has been a week since I came here to write my first review on this company not shipping my product after purchase. Well, Monport has still not shipped out my product. Initially they promised 3 business working days then it turned to a week. It has been a week since last Monday still nothing. The last promise was within 24hours and that was 3 days ago, still nothing.
What is so hard in shipping out ones machine after purchase or lying to customers? If only I knew what type of company Monport was before buying from them, just so unprofessional.

This is a company that you should not trust
I wanted to order a 60 Watt MOPA Laser to be delivered from their German warehouse. They told me it was not on stock and talked me into ordering a 100 Watt machine which cost around USD 700,-- more, and I agreed because it was important for me to have the shipment out of Germany.
Despite this agreement they sent the machine out of China. It was controlled by customs, and I had to pay an additional appr. USD 1.100,-- on taxes. The machine arrived on May 24, 2024, and it was defective. I communicated this to Monport and gave extensive documentation (sample prints) to show that the machine was not working. I was asking for a replacement and they promised me to send me a shipping label to return the defective machine and replace it. Monport also said they would compensate me for the additional costs incurred by having shipped the device from China and not out of Germany which was the reason to buy the more expensive machine. After this nothing happened. They stopped answering my e-mails and despite numerous efforts from my side to contact them resulted in nothing. They just do not respond at all. Now I am sitting on a defective laser machine that cost around USD 6.000,-- plus USD 1.100 on taxes and Monport does not communicate me at all. I will have to cancel the transaction and use PayPal`s customer protection programme to get my money back. The situation has seriously damaged my business.
I plan to update this review over time and publish this in detail on youtube to warn other potential customers to buy from this company. Their attitude is not acceptable, and this has caused me severe inconvenience.
Update June 21, 2024: Monport has reacted and sent me an e-mail where they promised to expedite the replacement of the machine while it would take some time to send a return label. I will keep you updated of how this works out.
Update July 02, 2024: After my review on Trustpilot I actually received e-mails from Monport again after having cut off communication for almost three weeks. They promised a lot but they did not fulfil any of their promises. They missed the dead-line I set them to replace the defective laser machine. So I decided to cancel my order and ask for a refund. If you need a Laser marker for business it is impossible to work with Monport because they are either unwilling or uncapable of offering even the most basic service, and they promise a lot and then they do plainly nothing, leaving you alone with your problems.
Update July 08, 2024
Situation unchanged. I am still sitting on a defective laser (for six weeks now). Monport has sent some e-mails, but nothing has happened so far. They have made dozens of promises and they have not fulfilled a single one. I keep asking to receive a refund for the cancelled purchase but nothing is happening. I will have to open a conflict case on PayPal.
Update July 12, 2024
I finally got labels for the return of the shipped items which have been picked up today so everything is on its way to Monport`s German logistic center. Communication with Monport or the shipping company (TNT) was difficult but it finally worked out. I am now waiting to be refunded for my purchase and tax costs. Will keep you updated.
Update July 17, 2024
The payment for the order of the laser machine has been refunded today. This is a great step forward considering the fact that it is now around 9 weeks ago that I paid for the order, I reported the machine to be defective on May 24 and it took until today to get the refund for this order settled (plus dozens of e-mails and an equivalent of around four full working days dealing with the issue). It is a pity in the sense that the machine (if it had not been damaged during the shipment) would have been perfectly o.k., but I need a laser for business and cannot work with a company that is not in the position to offer the service level you depend on when something goes wrong.
The tax issue is still open: I had to pay around USD 1.100,-- in tax because the laser was shipped from China and not from Germany as has been originally agreed. Monport has promised to settle this issue as well. Will keep you updated.

Monportlaser.uk - Awful service!!
This review is for Monportlaser.uk.
I placed an order on 5th June, and according to their website, I should have had a tracking number within about 1-2 days, delivery within 3-7. 6 days on and my order is still showing as confirmed. No tracking number and no delivery.
I have sent about 6 emails asking for updates and not had a single reply. When I emailed BEFORE placing an order with queries, I had several responses within a matter of hours, and they was very helpful. I was quite impressed with the customer support. But now they have my money, I have heard nothing.
I finally had a response on day 7 stating that they were sorry for the delay and it was all due to them being so busy. They also advised that the items I had ordered were out of stock, despite showing as in stock on the website. I have now cancelled my orders and hope the refund will dealt with promptly.
Absolutely shocking service. I advise you stay well clear of this company.
UPDATE: I checked the website again today, 1st July, and they are still showing as having stock, despite me being told they had none. In fact, since they cancelled my order, the number of 'available' units has gone back up by one. So despite them saying 'we are sorry that our team has not updated the stock information on our website in a timely manner. We will take steps to correct this issue and improve our stock management to prevent similar situations in the future'...it seems 3 weeks is not long enough.

Regretting Monport
Recently, I purchased a Monport K40 Pro, but despite my efforts to set it up properly, it wasn't functioning correctly. After several attempts, I decided to contact the company to arrange a return. They instructed me to send a photo, assuring me they would then provide a UPS label. I sent the photo as requested, but after that, despite numerous follow-up emails, they suddenly ceased communication. It's been weeks now, which feels like a joke. When investing in mechanical products like this, one always expects the company to provide support, yet Monport failed to do so. I am dissatisfied with the experience. The device remains in my possession. It's important to be cautious, folks.
Edit: I have sent my name and details to the Monport support team via email. I am awaiting a response. (05.05.24)
Edit2: Email hasn't responded for a long time. They said they would discuss the return label but still haven't sent it. They only provide directions related to the device, without any sincerity. Responding quickly to a customer's simple requests is simple. However, not responding and remaining silent when customers request something you don't want to provide reveals the quality of the company. I regret working with you. (05.19.24)

I bought a CO2 laser from Monport on…
I bought a CO2 laser from Monport on May of 2022 and received it on October of 2022. Based on my machine, the quality is poor. (1) The first thing that broke were the cast hinges within a month i replaced them with steel ones from my local hardware store. (2) The On/Off switch shortly after they replaced it, it took over a week. (3) The Z0 axis probe dove into the wood without stopping (2023). Few weeks go by and they sent wrong one, they keep telling me they'll replace it. (4) The laser power supply goes out. Again they said they'll replace it. As of today 3/12/24 being waiting on Z0 probe for three months and for the power supply 2 months. Monport lacks customer support and lacks knowledge on troubleshooting. I'm frustrated. Now it seems they don't want to honor their warranty. Now after comparing other machines to this one, i would not recommend Monport.

Machine is junk
I could fill volumes with the frustrations this has caused not to mention the expenses that I cannot recoup, the software that I had to subscribe to because I messed around with this so long it exceeded the trial period, the peripheral equipment bought in support of this. These are cheap Chinese machines imported with no quality control and they do not work. Monport is not equipped to provide support and does not even have technicians qualified to provide support. You end up emailing back and forth with translated emails from China that take days to get response. I have gone round and round for weeks, they have actually had me changing hardware in the machine ( I paid for a new functioning product ) and they have me replacing the mother board in the thing. Rediculous and it made no difference. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW THESE WORK. I've finally had enough, I told them I want a refund, they've told me for the past 4 days that they are working on a call tag and it's marked urgent. 4 days for a call tag? In my opinion, This company is stealing people's money.
Please read positive reviews carefully. Many seem worded rather strangely. Reviews that offer coupons or refer you to mfg website seem rather suspect.

Monport copied OMTech manuals and the piburn rotary. They rip off everyone in the laser industry. They can’t even provide technical support for their own customers Buyer beware. They constantly have review removed from Trust pilot.

NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER
No COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER! I bought my laser on December 11th. Paid >6k for said laser. This is the last I have heard from them. They confirmed it, they took the money! Haven't heard anything. I have tried calling 3 different numbers that they have listed-all hang up on you after a total of 4 rings. I have sent now 4 different emails-no response. I have been sitting on their monport "chat' for over an hour without communication. NOTHING. Yes I did my research-hours of it. I am now convinced that the reviews are from the company. I'm beyond frustrated!
I cant even get them to respond to "cancel my order!"
Buyer beware.
