BIG RIPOFF YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

The Customer Support is terrible for this company. You spend forever on hold and then the people that answer do not usually give you what you need to know. I also am getting charged extra charges for no reason after paying the installation fee and the high price of 80 dollars a month. I also used this company because it allowed to have Monitech shut off the device while it was getting worked on, little did I know this was an extremely painful process to go through. I have had to call 4 separate times, getting different information each time on what I needed to do. Finally the mechanic said to just bring the car in and they would get a bypass code, which they requested 4 days ago. I called the customer support and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I finally got through to Irene who said that I should call back on Monday( It was Thursday). The Monitech place says 24-48 hours to get the code but my car has been in the shop for 4 days and I am probably going to have to go get my car without it having the work it needs done because this place is incompetent and cannot send them a simple code so the work on my car can get done.

Nothing but a money racket, inconsiderate company to say the least, that's my experience, I don't want no bs reply either. I asked if they would waive the 45$ fee or pay later because I didn't have the funds available. They said no, now I'm locked out with no way to work. Crooked. Reply to Monitech I paid my monthly fees everything on time and I've paid 5 times $45 to get a code to unlock my truck. To charge someone 45$ for code that takes 5 min to get is criminal. Beware monitech is a retaliatory company if you leave bad feedback they'll really stick it to you. You would think they would fix the A/C in their service waiting room with all the money they're raking in, it's been broke since last summer. Just goes to show the level of care they have for their clients. I feel bad for the employee as well, no wonder he's not happy.

Of course it was super easy to get started and customer service was a breeze however once the device is installed you can Never get a hold of anyone your on hold for 30 mins to 1 hour so if they make any mistakes during your set up it's impossible to get anyone on the phone I do NOT recommend using this service

Every customer service agent that I spoke to were nice. However, this interlock system has caused me to be late for work, I’ve had to call out of work because I cannot start my car. There was no reason given. I have had to wait on hold before speaking with someone for over three hours. This company is ridiculous and will cost you in the long run. Soon as I get someone on the phone I am telling them to schedule an appt to take this device off my car and seeking another company to finish my last 5 months.

I was door dashing in huntersville and I live in Statesville 40 mins away and my device said unable to take test. Well I was on hold for 40 minutes. Then I was gave an override code didn’t work told me to unplug it for 5 mins plug it back in well didn’t work so they told me a tech would call me the next morning and they would meet me and see what the issue was. Well Nobody called so I called and they said ol it’d be after 5 and if they had several service calls to go to it may be the next day after 5. Luckily I have a daughter that could come and get me and take me to get the device from my car and take it to a shop in Charlotte. But what if this would’ve been in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere to a woman with kids and no one to call to come get them and not have money for an Uber or a motel to stay in. Something needs to be done before somebody ends up getting hurt. It’s giving me nothing but problems in the year I’ve had it. You would think after being in the business as long as they have this kind of thing wouldn’t happen. GET A CLUE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!

May 6th... waited 46 minutes to speak To an agent. Spent May 8th... waited 13 min. May 11th... waited 42 minutes July 1st ... waited 13 min, they hung up Called back for 15 min Aug 24 ... made 4 calls - 28 min total no answer Aug 25 ... 26 min - no answer & v.mail Aug 26 ... 4 calls - 1 hour 5 min total And after the whole hour it goes to voicemail and they never call back All of these incidents have costed me $45 each except one or two... the device makes false alarms and you never win a "dispute" but it would cost me $200 to leave work to dispute $45. The main issue in this complaint is the customer service.. I will not deviate and get off topic. THIS IS UNREAL.. UNBELIEVABLE... and I have only 3 days to reset my code and I have been calling ALL THREE DAYS AND NOW I AM GOING TO GET LOCKED OUT OF MY TRUCK AND HAVE NO RIDE TO WORK IN THE MORNING! SO I DONT JUST LOSE ANOTHER $45 BUT A WHOLE DAY OF OVERTIME AND POSSIBLY MY JOB... I SHOULD SUE FOR THIS LOSS AND RECOVER EXPENSES TO PURCHASE A RIDE TO AND FROM WORK AND NOW SIT ON HOLD FOR MORE AND MORE HOURS TO PROBABLY NEVER GET ANYONE TO TAKE MY $45... THIS IS INSANE... I have only had the unit 4 months and spent over $225 after this and spent almost FIVE HOURS OF MY LIFE ON HOLD TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY IN 3 MONTHS... and I got 2 years and 8 more months...ITS ALL A SETUP SCAM FOR MONEY BECAUSE MY DWI WAS NOT EVEN FOR ALCOHOL SO WHY AM I BLOWING AN ALCOHOL DETECTOR AND WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BLOW UPON ARRIVAL WHEN YOU ARE NO LONGER OPERATING THE VEHICLE?? AND I THOUGHT THE PURPOSE WAS TO KEEP THE ROADS SAFE SO CLEARLY THE ARRIVAL TEST IS A JOKE TO SCAM MONEY AND IT ALWAYS HAS A 15-30 SECOND DELAY TO STAY QUIET AND ALLOW YOU TO EXIT THE VEHICLE BEFORE IT MAKES THE REQUEST... SMH JUST ANSWER THE PHONE.. GET SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE.. HIRE HELP OR CREATE A WEBSITE TO PAY ONLINE. YOU HAVE THE MONEY!!!!!!

I have called multiple times was on hold for an hour then it hung up on me. I’ve tried calling multiple times and it is the same thing each time. I understand high call volume but it’s abit much. I never get a call back and I’ve pressed 8 and it doesn’t work.
