Customer service is terrible. Call to get an unlock code because I failed a test while driving. (I had eaten some little Caesars I just picked up.). I also pulled over, rinsed my mouth, and passed the retest so I shouldn't have violated. This was going to cost $35. Told by "customer service" girl it's going to be $70 because of an additional $35 charge for a missed appointment. Now this is another huge issue. I scheduled an appointment for the Mooresville location, got an appointment card stating this, and arrived to my appointment at the scheduled time. They were closed. I called customer service and they told me I was supposed to be in hickory. I told them about the card and the mistake being on them. I talked to 3 different people about this all saying the charge would be waived if I showed them the card. I tried to fax a total of 6 times, then emailed "customer service" pictures, and also showed the tech at my rescheduled appointment. Now I took off work and drove to make this appointment and they still want to charge me for their mistake. This company is completely unprofessional and I highly recommend you run to an alternative option in the unfortunate event you need one of these money racket machines.

Disgusted PAYING customer
Have had my device since may, was told that I could change payments to monthly or every two months at any time. That was a COMPLETE lie, I had to argue for 30 minutes with "customer service" to explain that there was not logic in this seeing as how you pay for the months of use in ADVANCE and that I was not going to continue to pay for two months at a time, being in nursing school can make it just a little difficult to afford this payment. In talking to someone about this change to my account that I was never aware would be such an issue, the lady asked me who told me this. Apparently unlike most, I lack the ability to recall every person's name that I encounter and this must be unheard of because she was shocked that I did not know. As much as they say that they "keep record of everything", she told me that they had no documentation of who installed the device in my car. So my question was, if this person had damaged something in my car while installing, how would the company trace it back to the individual responsible?? The company is either covering for the one who told me false information or is setting themselves up for a mess in dealing with liability issues if someone ever does damage someones car. This does not make a lot of sense to me, but hey who am I other than a non-valued consumer? After this long conversation, magically, she had it changed. I do NOT believe that this process was in fact a hardship on the worker, simply a worker not caring to carry out her job.
Multiple times, I have driven to class or work early in the morning and had no issue starting my car, only to leave class or work (where I OBVIOUSLY am not consuming alcohol) to receive a "FAIL" and then a "WARN" five minutes later. (I am sure if it actually detected alcohol, the level would for sure drop that drastically in 5 whole minutes) I call customer service to simply find that they cannot explain this logic. In my opinion the lack of explanation is that there is no logic. The device is faulty. Many of the days in class, the only thing that I have had in my mouth is WATER, maybe some almonds! Why should that matter? This product was not designed with a purpose to report if someone is eating or not, or was it?! When I have expressed this concern with the "customer service" reps, they simply repeat themselves that they cannot answer my question, so what exactly are these people being paid for? The only answer that I have actually received is "ma'am, the device is detecting alcohol". I know for a fact that it is NOT detecting any alcohol. I may have been stupid enough to make the mistake once; however, I will never be stupid enough to make it again and it would be very nice as a PAYING CUSTOMER to at least have the right to receive truthful, accurate information from people who are willing to at least ATTEMPT to solve issues at hand instead of repeating irrelevant scripted phrases.
.....
I wrote this review last night and now I am sitting in the office waiting to pay my service fee for the month and for the second time, the tech is 20 minutes late to work. Just thought this would be a nice addition to edit this and add to my review to further express all of the other issues I have had with this company. Full of excuses. I have a full time job and excuses don't cut it for being late. GET IT TOGETHER MONITECH!!!
