They suck in customer service so bad... been on hold stranded For more than a hour bc I had a faulty system that required lock out codes every other day and Invalid settings displaying in my screen from day one it’s never worked properly it’s bs not to mention the malfunctioning is causing issues with my alternator (which I had tested prior to getting this device)

The original head that was installed was proven that it was faulty. I've had the device one week and already have $90.00 in penalty fees. I'm on disability and receive $853.00 per month. My DWI conviction was 11/01. This proves I've been tucked away & lost in your broken system. Your device shows I've failed with high results, meaning I had cologne, food, cake, hand sanitizer during this pandemic or something that cost me $90.00 it sure wasn't a sip, nip, guzzle or shot. I've been sober almost 20 yrs and I continue to be punished from a charge from 2001. People have been charged with vehicular homicide and have received less of a sentence then what I have endured! Your system is broken in N.C. and as much as cellphones have advanced and technology? Your devices have not at Monitech. Where is all the money going? Because it sure isn't going to advance the equipment that your company offers to the state and the resident offenders of North Carolina. Respectfully, Paul H. Boehm

Rude disrespectful staff/company that should have absolutely NO third party contract with the DMV! Upon entering the small dirty frigid area I’ve noticed multiple people waiting in a 10 x 10 room for assistance. No mask nor Any rules in place in regards to Covid restrictions and policies. Staff has no clue how to manage any thing but smoke marijuana in the background and play loud music. It’s amazing how small businesses can maintain contracts with the ADOT.

I Feel The System Is Not Only Annoying But Outdated... The Testing Every 5-10 Minutes Is Nerve Racking... It’s Not Like Someone’s Gonna Crank Up And Immediately Start Drinking As Soon As They Start Driving... You Test To Start, You Test While Driving And Then Even If You Just Tested A Few Seconds Before, You Have To Test To Get Out Of The Car... This Is Excessive To Say The Least And The Device Is Big, Intrusive And Embarrassing... The System Is Also Very Flawed, Gave Me A Bogus Fail And After Waiting 5 Minutes I Passed, Sometimes I Test Until I’m Almost Out Of Breath And It Will Make Me Test Again, Very Inconvenient And Frustrating... I Understand The Initial Test And I Could See Maybe Every 30 Minutes But The Random Every Few Minutes And The Arrival Test Is Excessive And Unnecessary... Think About It How Many People Could Drink And Sober Up In 15-30 Minutes... I Will End With This, The System Is Disturbing, Distracting And Somewhat Unsafe... Think About It...

Had to have a monitech installed on a brand new 2017 mazda 3. As soon I told the tech the make and model, he said “ugh your the worst, I have never installed a monitech on a newer mazda”. First strike. Second time I could him through the wall on the phone with another person asking how to install it after 5 mins I heard him say to the other person “crap, I blew a fuse!” After that I knocked on the maintenance door and asked him what was going on and he told me that he blew a fuse but said it was “nothing to worry about, it happens all the time.” I was very skeptical and asked for his managers number. Called the number and went to voicemail and no one picked up or called back. A week after, my back up does not work properly! Mind this was a brand new car with no issues. Do not recommend.

Online website misleading claiming help every step of the way. The only decent person I spoke with was the one who set up the install. poor customer service once entered building. Was rushed through paperwork, was not asked for my MVD directive paperwork , which was later found out to be expired, a problem that may have been caught if the time was given to review the paperwork which I was told to bring. Once install was completed, was given crash course on how to use it. left just as confused. Bottom line, no one has experience doing this, at least on the customer end, so a certain amount of explanation and patience are necessary when you have someone paying you for yes, the install, but also the time of day to explain what I'm signing and I blow where... When? For how long? Wait I'm already done? They were fast, I'll give em that. Very discouraged. Won't come here again...lol like a cemetery, next time around... Do yourself a favor and go one more selection down the list of approved interlock places.
