Hello Kay, it's unfortunate you experienced these issues, but it's important that we clarify a few points. Based on our Customer Service team’s review of your support ticket, the issue you reported was a Windows File Explorer issue, not a MoneyThumb software issue. MoneyThumb does not control Windows File Explorer, and our software does not have the ability to lock up or resolve Windows operating systems. Our support team recommended working with your local IT support to diagnose your Windows environment as it was completely unrelated to our software. We're always happy to assist with questions related to our software and file conversions, but we're not able to troubleshoot operating system issues that fall outside our application. We wish you the best in getting your computer fully resolved. ~MoneyThumb

Hi Steven, While we disagree with your characterization of the situation, we appreciate the opportunity to respond. Our team spent significant time assisting you through both email and live phone support, including reviewing statements, explaining product functionality, troubleshooting reconciliation issues, and escalating edge-case credit card processing concerns to our development team. Throughout our conversations, we were transparent that the requested fix required development work and could not be completed within the short timeframe you requested. Once you requested cancellation, we canceled your account within 15 minutes and promptly issued a full refund. We strive to provide responsive and professional support to all customers and wish you the best in finding a solution that meets your specific needs. ~MoneyThumb

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry this experience was frustrating. After reviewing your account, we see our support team replied to your inquiry to better understand the issue about only being able to process one account, as we’re often able to quickly resolve file or conversion questions. We did not receive a follow-up response and apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding your refund request. Our pricing is based on the number of accounts within each monthly statement, even if multiple statements are combined into one PDF, as outlined in our FAQs. We’d appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Please contact our support team directly so we can review your case and resolve it promptly. ~MoneyThumb

Hi Jesus, Thank you for your feedback. After reviewing your account, we found that you submitted three separate tickets for the same issue within a 9-minute window. To prevent confusion and ensure efficient service, our support team follows a standard procedure of merging or closing duplicate tickets so that our team isn’t working on the same issue in parallel. Your original ticket was responded to within 19 minutes—well within our typical response window and much faster than most SLAs. However, it appears you may not have seen our reply, as we never received a response from you. If that’s the case, we’re happy to resend the communication and provide timestamped records to clarify. We take customer service very seriously and pride ourselves on fast, helpful support. Based on the facts, we believe the 1-star review is unfounded. We’d greatly appreciate if you would remove your review as it does not accurately reflect what happened. Please don’t hesitate to reach out at https://www.moneythumb.com/contact/ if you would like to walk through the timeline. Sincerely, The MoneyThumb Team

Hi Kaival, In reviewing the customer service logs on your account, it's clear that we have tried everything we can to assist you. We have explained to you that because you purchased a 1-user license, you cannot install it on multiple machines. We asked you to provide the MAC address of the one computer that you will be using, which we then associated with your single-user license. However, even after you indicated that you uninstalled the license from the other machines, we kept seeing new activity on those "uninstalled" machines. Our license system does not allow for this and it's made very clear in our terms and conditions that the user is completely responsible for maintaining and controlling your license code. If you have sent your code to multiple users who keep using it, there is nothing we can do from our end as we do not have the ability to deactivate a machine remotely. We have tried several times to work with you to identify the one computer you will be using with the 1-user license that you purchased, but clearly the license is being used on other machines. We do have online subscriptions that may be better suited for your multi-user needs; please reach out and we can share more details. We wish you success in finding a solution that better fits your needs.

Hi Charlene, We reviewed your situation at length and have concluded that there is no basis for a refund given that all of the conversions that you purchased were used and converted perfectly. With thousands of QuickBooks customers and millions of conversions successfully processed, we have not run into a situation where the documents disappeared. It's unfortunate that you are not able to locate the documents in QuickBooks and perhaps this is something to address with them. We wish you the best.

Hi Ann, We're sorry that you feel that we were unwilling to cooperate. Our customer service team explained that your license allows for a certain number of users and in your case, the number of users has been in excess of what's allowable per the licensing agreement. It is important for us to maintain good relationships with our customers and we do hope that you reconsider the recommendation that we provided, that our MoneyThumb Online option may better suit your needs. We welcome the opportunity to discuss this further if you'd like to reach back out to our customer service team.
